When Fetters first heard Sark's name come up he assumed he was the OC for the new head coach.

Not about when Sarkisian was hired. But I was in chat on the Monday Sark left for USC and people were bringing up Petersen's name (at the time I and others thought there was no chance at getting him), I vividly remember F3 saying, "I hope they don't hire him (petersen), he hates the internet media". I didn't forget that quote, and I am so mad at myself that I didn't screen shot that shit, but I thought there was no way Petersen would be hired.

I was with you in the sense that I never thought he was going to lose to Boise. I was also a bit jaded with Petersen due to TCU (shout out to ruining a NFL career by supposedly pulling a gun on a woman - he must have feces in HIS throat).
However, with Petersen at UW, I haven't heard a single thing from him that makes me think that he WON'T succeed here. In fact, he's exactly the kind of coach that fits here very well.
I can't help but think that we've got the perfect coach for our program and that Petersen found the perfect school for what he wants to accomplish. -

AAsssndy had an even bigger meltdown the night it was announced. Then Dude Brah must have had a beer with him or something because he changed his tune in days.
