Seriously, people don’t know why Coach K left Seattle and Sark was a former head coach of the Huskies?
Remember Nick Holt? How did Sark get him away from USC? Persuasiveness and $$$$.
How did Sark get Wilcox, Sirmon and Lupoi away from Tennessee and Cal respectively to blow up Cal’s stellar class two weeks before LOI day (and get Shaq Thompson) as a bonus? Persuasiveness and $$$$.
Everybody knew Sark was boozing and whoring with his young staff after they arrived and during his tenure after the young guns arrived.
How did Sark get hired by USC based on what he accomplished at UW?
He’s very persuasive and he was part of Pete Carroll’s staff; They didn’t do their due diligence. They have a history of terrible hires, other than Pete Carroll, who was their third choice.
Classic Sark: After he was fired by USC for his drinking “problem”, tweets between Danny Shelton and Shaq Thompson words to the effect: some things never change.
Now why do you think Coach K left UW, besides the fact that their fanbase cares way more; they have the Longhorn network; and I’m sure he’ll make (unverified) way more than Washington would be willing to pay him.
