Pretty much all of them. My favorite because I’m a nostalgia guy is the Old Mallory Hotel which is now the Hotel Deluxe. This is where the 49ers use to stay when they use to play preseason games in Multnomah stadium.Goduckies said:
It is about a half mile uptown from the train station. The Max goes right by it. It is reasonable for Portland.
It is about 5 blocks to Jakes Crawfish and about 10 blocks from the Ringside

Yeah, remove the part with the most population from WA and OR and you have conservative states. Hey, it's a nice thought and all, but Portland and Seattle run the politics of both states without any checks and balances at this point. Living in the conservative part of Oregon isn't going to save you from the insanity. The Socialists are now pushing their agenda at the state level, not just Portland or Seattle.DJDuck said:
Oregon would be a deep red state if you just removed the Eastside of Portland or made Multnomah County it’s own State. -
I'd move back to Oregon in a heartbeat if the state wasn't being run by Portland area leftists.BleachedAnusDawg said: -
No I didn’t say that. Nice fucking the Strawman. The Eastside of Portland or even the North Portland Precincts are not MOST OF THE POPULATION OF OREGON. I guess you are ignorant of Oregon geography and politics. I would suggest you familiarize yourself on the subject and refrain from using strawmen when you post.BleachedAnusDawg said:

Multnomah County has about 560,000 registered voters out of about 2.9 million voters, hardly a majority. Also I said If the EASTSIDE of Portland only were to leave Oregon we would be a deep Red State.BleachedAnusDawg said:

I have analyzed the precinct level voting of almost every precinct in Portland. It may be boring but I am retired, it is my hometown and I am ultimately a curious sort. So I suggest you be prepared when broaching these subjects.

Let's just skip the bullshit and say it: "White People Bad, BIPOC People Good."hardhat said:In the name of equity, we as white people should reconsider calling 911.
Bring on the apocalypse. Nothing's gonna stop it now. -
The problem is that leftards vote 90% for leftards. In my suburban part of the Portland metro area (Clackamas County which includes Lake Oswego and West Linn) Trump got 43% of the vote and the Republican senate candidate got 43% of the vote. Too many soft headed Snows and suburban housewives voting on feelz.DJDuck said: -
Yeah it's nice living in CDA where none of this crap exists. I will say the fuck Biden flags in the trucks are q bit much though lol!Southerndawg said: -

You said "Oregon would be a deep red state if you just removed the Eastside of Portland or made Multnomah County it’s own State." Pretty pointless comment as the voters in the areas you cite run your state politics because your Governor and Legislature are far left at this point (same as Seattle/WA). So, yeah, pontificate about "if only East Portland wasn't part of the State we'd be deep red" all you want. The liberal voters outnumber "deep red" Oregon and you have to follow the Statewide rules that the insane liberals of Portland enact. I am in the same boat here.DJDuck said:
At your age, you might want to get your anger checked out as an early symptom of dementia. It sounds like, even though you're a Quook, you and I would agree on many political issues if you could calm down and read things as comments and not attacks. -
You are damn near a supermajority of Dems in your state legislature. Removing East Portland would not make Oregon deep red.DJDuck said: -
You don't think they have BLM signs in Bend, Madras and Sandy? Doesn't ring true to me. Bend is chock full of former-Cali Faggy-Libs, praying the environment will keep their kids off drugs.DJDuck said:
It won't, of course, and you'll probably have some HS dropout, Antifa wannabes smashing the windows at Hanks or Ralphs or whatever that place is on Century, once the Eastside and Westside divisions become insurmountable and cement themselves into the next generation.
The Battle of Old Mill will be Epic. -
Not a good example. Deschutes County was won by Trump over Clinton in 2016 and Biden won with 52% in 2020.
Here are the results by county for 2016
https://www.politico.com/2016-election/results/map/president/oregon/
It’s the 76% in Multnomah County but more specifically the precincts in North and NE Portland that vote 90-95% Democrat that matter..........not even all of Portland. I live in the farthest part of SW Portland. It’s kind of a wonderful little enclave. Our precincts vote about 60-65% Democrat. If that were the case in all of Portland we would have 2 Republican Senators -

1/3 of Oregon House Members are from Multnomah County. 1/3 of State Senators are from Multnomah County. And you don’t think if they were gone it wouldn’t make a big difference? Please stay with what you know.BleachedAnusDawg said:

You seem to be forgetting Salem and the People's Republic of Eugene. If Clackamas County can't be turned red, give it up. It's the entire Willamette Valley.DJDuck said: -
Unless Oregon is doing some weird stuff that no other state is doing, House/Senate seats are apportioned based on population. "If the largest population center in our state wasn't there we'd be red." Yeah, I get it. For God's sake I have spent years working with PACs and orgs doing elections, etc. I understand the complaint and where it comes from. If I lived in Eastern Washington I'd be pissed off knowing that Seattleites 150+ miles away, who live in an entirely different culture, are the voters who will determine what happens in my town.DJDuck said:
IMO, it's an empty exercise in frustration to think about one area being 95% Dem and getting rid of them being the solution. -
You are a fool trying to be an expert in something you are ignorant about. Your the one that is making moronic statements and making this a stupid exercise. I just made a true statement and you ignorantly wanted to argue like an ignorant jerk. I have a site I help take care of. I don’t come here often because of morons like you. None are so blind that WILL NOT see. You are wasting my time with your ankle biting bullshit.
I never went through any exercise by the way. I just stated the truth moron. You are the one that seems to relish being argumentative. Your whining about a simple statement says a lot about you as a nutjob. Like I said I have a few forums to tend to of our former educkers that I would rather exchange information with rather than a whiny little arrogant bitch. -
