The Best QB-WR duos in Husky Football history

I would have said Jake Locker - the track. I vividly remember watching his fly route bombs sailing over the heads of his teammates on the sidelines and bouncing off the middle lane of the track in front of a half-empty Husky Stadium. That play always had the same result when it was run on 3rd and 2DerekJohnson said:Jake Locker and the 10th row

Cody Pickett - Reggie WilliamsPicket to Williams because everybody fucking knew that was what we were going to do and they still shattered the book.

Billy Joe Hobert - Mario BaileyEveryone knows what's coming when you're ranked last in the PAC-10 in yards per carry.

Cody Pickett - Reggie WilliamsHobert (and Brunell) dropped dimes to Bailey, but the TEAM was so much better that the play action pass was almost unfair.
I think Pickett is probably the most underrated QB to go through UW. Talent wise, a healthy Pickett is arguably better than both those guys. A true what could have been guy IMO.
Reggie was the most talented receiver we've ever had.
If you put those two guys on the natty team, i'm not sure we're worse that year. -
Did Reggie ever learn to downfield block?Doogles said:Hobert (and Brunell) dropped dimes to Bailey, but the TEAM was so much better that the play action pass was almost unfair.

Cody Pickett - Reggie Williams
Reggie was pretty fucking physical. I didn't realize Mario Bailey was routinely blowing up safeties. Maybe it was Orlando Mckay? In any case, Reggie was a hot head, but when another alpha cb tried to jam him, he would punk the shit out of him. There is a highlight of him pushing trufant 15 yards down the field. Also I forget the name of the hot shot UCLA CB at the time, but i remember those two going at it and Reggie owning him.OZONE said:

Again, put him on the natty team coached by don james and practicing against that defense and tell me we would have been worse.
