In my twenties, my friends and I went shopping for lingerie. Since one of them was a bit of a cheapskate, she insisted on going to JC Penney to see what they had.
“Ooooh, sale on Jockey underwear,” she cooed.
(For those of you that are unaware, Jockey panties are usually sold in packs of three)
“Will you put those back,” I snapped, “buying Jockey underwear is basically admitting you’re giving up on trying to be sexy.”
So I can’t think of a more appropriate apparel partner for the conference. -
