But the centrist voters have no desire to be connected with that far right wing ...

Republicans need to stay out of the crosshairs for a little while. Just sit back and let them try and govern, they people will see it.
On paper 2024 should be a slam dunk based on the policy, culture and candidates that Trump or someone else is going against. Noem and Ron together would crush it if we let them and don't make the stupid mistake of going with someone Nebraska classy.
