I think he’s probably homesick although after Kaho, being skeptical is reasonable.haie said:I like Puka, he's shown some stuff. He performs well against our worst enemies which is always a plus for me.
It would be a loss if he leaves, but if he leaves it's probably because we don't give a fuck about him unless we're trying to come back from a 21 point deficit against a mountain west team at home.
Puka is our best WR and would be a big loss. He’s good. -
Have any of you been able to talk to Jimmy Lake recently? Did you let him know that his DC left?

@puppylove_sugarsteel talks to Lake all the time.bananasnblondes said:Have any of you been able to talk to Jimmy Lake recently? Did you let him know that his DC left?
Too bad he can't figure out how to get back on HCH. -
It would be great if we could get a Defensive Coordinator picked out so that they can recruit the biggest defensive prospect our state has ever had for the next few months. Or not. I guess it's not that big of a deal.

This kid obviously wants to block. A lot. Kentucky runs the damn ball more than we? do. They cant throw worth shit.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said: -

"if Jimmy rode the talent to an NFL job in a year or two, or if we fired him in next 3 years. I doubt he’s here for long either way.
I don’t know if his heart would be in it because he’s quit 3 times but Gary Andersen.
He’s kind of like a mini-Petersen.
Was very successful at Utah St but shunned the spotlight by leaving Wisconsin for Oregon St. He doesn’t like attention. He was frustrated realizing he couldn’t win at Oregon St so quit.
He was hired by Urban Meyer, coached with him at Utah and has coached with Whittingham as a DC for a number of years.
I think he would be a solid fit if he felt we’d really invest in building a winner. And he’d like our media market which is nothing compared to every other top 15 program. He’s 56 so he could probably be the guy for 5-7 years" -
Holy fuck Andersen has quit multiple times because he is a raging alcoholic and was cheating on his wife.
How could you be that clueless. -
He under achieved horribly his second time at usu and is a well documented raging alcoholic. Too bad at one time he was an impressive coach.FremontTroll said:Holy fuck Andersen has quit multiple times because he is a raging alcoholic and was cheating on his wife.

If he’s trying to troll people it was a complete dud.
If he’s serious, complete dud. @jecornel your bro, your main man needs help -

No doubt. The last wr that could take a routine 5-10 yard pass to the house was Ross.RoadDawg55 said:

I wonder if there's something going on where coaches refuse to have their play calling dictated by the fact that receivers could defect by not getting enough touches.
But Puka is part of what is clearly the playmaking core of Bynum, Rome, and Jalen. -

Wtf?? Does urban need a bag man in the nfl?GrundleStiltzkin said: -
I've never really understood why everyone just assumes that Tosh is "just" a recruiter. Saban moved him right on up his coaching tree until he became DC. Maybe being a coordinator was just too much. As a position coach the best in college coaching (Saban, Meyer) seem to think he's pretty good. I'd kill for him to be back at UW. Meyer could have gone after Larry Johnson and was either turned down or he chose Tosh over him.FireCohen said:

My thinking exactly. If the dude sucks at coaching football why do people want him to be around? The NFL doesn’t need you to play video games and drop off cash. Saban wouldn’t promote someone because he’s having a hard time finding new coaches who can recruit to Bama.theknowledge said:

You needn't fear Washington doing anything remotely positive for their program.RatherBeBrewing said:

It's going to be fun watching Rome, McMillan, etc transfer after the upcoming 6 win season with the offense averaging 200 passing yards per game.

So in other words Jimmy is still the DC and nothing changed.
Anyone who thought an outsider was getting hired...lol
For better or worse the ship sails or sinks with Jimmy -
THUUUUUUDDDDD
-
Instead of bringing a recruiter from the outside we promoted another quality control guy?! Jimmy has got to be fucking trolling us at this point.
