I’m headed to Texas in early March for Texas BBQ. Right now I have plans to do Snow, the three in Lockhart, and am preordering Franklin BBQ to skip the insane line. What are some other can’t miss joints? I’ve already done Salt Lick, Cattleack, and Pecan Lodge.

My buddy would take me to Hard Eight BBQ when I'd be in Dallas for bidness. Their sausage and their banana pudding were always awesome.

Did some research at the Horns board and I came up with a few more:
Stiles Switch
Terry Black’s
Micklethwaith
All for beef ribs. I should also try to find out if John Mueller has his shit together these days and is running a spot. -
Do Truth BBQ in Houston. Insanely good brisket.

I grew up in Tennessee and therefore on pulled pork. Took me a while to adapt to brisket but love it now.
Also make sure you try burnt ends at a good BBQ place... -
