Also, I'm sure with Jones transferring (another Utah guy) and with Spiker and Osborne likely to portal, there has already been plenty of complaining within the receiver group.
On the other hand, why would you transfer to BYU to play for a new QB especially after you've established yourself as the top guy at UW? You're playing at Michigan in a few months.
Probably hung out with a bunch of Utah-based guys on winter break and liked the feeling and has been dropping "maybes" for a few weeks. Or got busted by UW coaches for some disciplinary shit, the list is endless. -

If he is gonna transfer byu is a weird spot at this point in his career. I think Utah would make more sense.
