You cannot be a good cop in a corrupt system. Supporting the police is an endorsement of the system.
It's far easier to blame cops for killing an innocent person because it places blame away from one's actions.
And I never said good cops can’t exist if there are bad cops and I never blamed all that is wrong on police. But thank you for the lecture about how I need to listen.
Go back and read what you wrote -
Unfortunately Teq is feeding a useless troll. @TheKobeStopper's type has always been around, bitching, whining and defending criminals who didn't comply, resisted arrest, and got their asses shot for doing stupid shit. KobeStopper doesn't get it, because he either doesn't want to get it or can't get it. He transparently hates cops because they represent the law, and obeying the law is simply too much of a burden for his type, despite his parents giving him "the Talk."
He'll read this and conclude I'm just a racist, because that's as far as his brain matter can stretch. He doesn't give a shit that bad actors in his community make it harder for everyone else in his community to live a good life, including those who police and work in the community. @TheKobeStopper doesn't give a shit about his community, and he proves it every time he makes excuses for the criminals and arrestees who would've suffered no harm at all if they'd simply obeyed lawful commands. Instead, like a parasite, he wants to defund and disband any shred of an organization that demands and enforces personal responsibility and accountability for one's own actions. That's the socialist/communist bag, baby. "It takes a Village to raise a child" is certainly on his bookshelf, as it provides the perfect vehicle for any parent who wants to let the streets raise their kids, and will then piss and moan when little Johnny winds up dead in the gutter at 17. That's the world @TheKobeStopper is shilling for, and is far too ignorant to identify the negative trappings of, even though the entire 20th century demonstrated the failings of collectivism and group identity over 200 million times. And most of the dead masses didn't even get a grave marker or headstone because they dared to think the wrong way. That's @TheKobeStopper's dream world.
Fuck that shit. -
I'm for abolishing the police. Quit being a pussy faggot and hiding behind "defund".TheKobeStopper said:
There is no amount of training to adequately prepare them for what they’re asked to do. What they need is less responsibility and to be demilitarized.hardhat said:
What’s your point dipshit? Police need better training, and that requires more funding, not less. Further, most poor communities need more police officers. You’ve offered nothing but snarky, snotty AOC depth responses.TheKobeStopper said:
If it was all about sympathy for criminals, I’d have sympathy for cops.SFGbob said:
No, you put their lives in greater danger and you gave more support and sympathy to the criminals than you did to the people trying to police the criminals. Why would anyone want to be a cop in a city like Portland or Seattle or Minneapolis?TheKobeStopper said:
So I hurt their feelings?SFGbob said:
They quit because assholes like you and the people you vote for throw them under the bus and don't support them. Same thing is happening in Seattle.TheKobeStopper said:“Lost over 100 officers” is an interesting way to put it. How do you lose police officers? Have they checked behind the couch? It’s always in the last place you look.
Even Al Sharpton disgrees with you.
I find it extremely odd that the right wing, individualism, don’t tread on me crowd wants to pump money into the state for policing though. Whenever it just so happens to hurt people of color, policing and the border, the state is incredible and should be trusted 100%. Odd.
I’m being snarky because there’s no point to this thread. No changes have been implemented, just cry baby cops mad that they can’t murder black people. This is why we say there are no good cops. Murdered on a guy on camera and they’re quitting because they’ll actually have to face consequences for it.
You got Al Sharpton on your side. Congratulations. -
I'd disagree with you that he doesn't care about his community. His community is just fine. The community he doesn't give a shit about is the lower income black and Hispanic communities that he squirts crocodile tears over.TurdBomber said:Unfortunately Teq is feeding a useless troll. @TheKobeStopper's type has always been around, bitching, whining and defending criminals who didn't comply, resisted arrest, and got their asses shot for doing stupid shit. So easy to do and never have to be accountable that way -
This happened in May outside of Phoenix. I don’t recall a national movement for Ryan Whitaker being shot in the back.
“Get down on your knees. Relax.”
As her boyfriend is bleeding out in front of her. Both cops are still with the department and no charges have been filed. White Lives Matter?https://youtu.be/mhAF3Ico3QE
-
Because when a white person is killed by the police white people don't view it as an attack on their race. Many black people have been conditioned to view all interactions with the police as inherently racist and part of some racist system. This situation often leads to black people elevating complete scumbags into martyrs. See Mike Brown and Jacob Blake. It doesn't help when you have assholes like Kobe claiming that cops want to murder black people and that the only reason they are now quitting the force is because they're mad that they can no longer murder blacks with impunity.NorthwestFresh said:This happened in May outside of Phoenix. Seriously if George Floyd was white would you of ever heard his name? -
Wow, you really are retarded. First you scoffed at why crime went up and why cops quit. Then you acted like it was all about helping people of color. Then you switched to wanting murderers held accountable and tanks not roaming our city streets, which no sane person is against. Now you actually think that you can add up the number of people dead from Mao and Stalin and say yeah, that's not so bad compared to like, capitalism. Now it all makes sense why you like AOC so much. In fact, why don't you shitpost more about Ted Cruz supposedly 'trying 'her' when he wasn't even referring to her.TheKobeStopper said:

You cannot be a good cop in a corrupt system. Supporting the police is an endorsement of the system.
It's far easier to blame cops for killing an innocent person because it places blame away from one's actions.
And I never said good cops can’t exist if there are bad cops and I never blamed all that is wrong on police. But thank you for the lecture about how I need to listen.

Someone has to die at work to pay for UBI and college and free healthcare
Socialism KILLS -
I have to ask if @TheKobeStopper is a parody account at this point
-
I would personally draw a distinction between random workplace deaths and people getting sick when you know they’ll get sick. But I see your point.RaceBannon said:Someone has to die at work to pay for UBI and college and free healthcare

Bullshit, we don't "know" that people will get sick simply by going to work. And we know that even if someone does get sick the likelihood that they'll die is nearly zero. Local grocery store I go to has had exactly one person catch COVID since this thing started in March and even then they don't know where they contracted it.TheKobeStopper said:

Even at this half assed favor the rich lockdowns the state and local governments are going broke and the Feds aren't getting much in the way of revenues either
Nobody is forced to work and if Nancy got off her ample ass we could extend this charade 6 more months before housing crashes and its the Biden Depression
-
Housing is going to crash. I know of three neighbors now behind on mortgage payments when they had never been before and they are very afraid. Early 40s to late 50s is their range. The only people I know doing well are the government workers and retirees in the neighborhood and even they are concerned.RaceBannon said:

I don’t care if you lean left or right ... find me one person that doesn’t advocate that bad cops that commit crimes shouldn’t be prosecuted
So fucking crazy to think that people that advocate supporting police is twisted to saying that they condone bad cops
Everybody is entitled the assumption of innocence until tried in front of a jury if their peers in a fair trial
Why is this shit that hard?
This is what happens to good cops.

"You cannot be a good cop in a corrupt system. Supporting the police is an endorsement of the system."
Make up your fucking mind, weasel.
So easy to do and never have to be accountable that way
Now walk me through the logical steps where a corrupt system is the same as individual bad cops existing.
You're offering no solutions ...
You're not saying what could or should be done different ...
You're just running your mouth saying that people are having to go to work in the name of capitalism and the economy and sacrificing their lives as a result -
Everybody should just be provided everything so that they don't have to do anything all day other than sit around, smoke weed, and play online poker (if online poker was legal) ... everything is solved going forwardTheKobeStopper said:
For essential workers, sure. But if people have to go back to work to pay rent and provide food, that’s capitalism.GrundleStiltzkin said:
In this argument, socialist vs. capitalist is incidental. Whether by command or incentive, people will produce the goods necessary, and some of them will be exposure to some level of greater COVID risk.TheKobeStopper said:
We have a capitalist economy. You want people to go back to work to save the economy. This will cause people to die. They would die to save the economy which is capitalist.hardhat said:
Did anyone say they wanted someone to die in the name of capitalism? I'm sorry but you saying it doesn't mean we did.TheKobeStopper said:
I didn’t say it, Tequilla. I’m sorry you spent 20 paragraphs arguing against what I didn’t say but him quoting it and showing I didn’t say it doesn’t help you.Tequilla said:
