When I was at Doogman, I was a lurker instead of a poaster. I remember reading things people would write and just think how inane almost all of it was. I finally decided to poast and I did a huge write up that was full of jokes and fun. LPT deleted it. I thought for sure it was a mistake. So I poasted it again, and again it got deleted. I was so furious I started looking for other message boreds.
Ultimately I found HH and started reading the boreds. Instantly realized this was the place for me, and saw a handful of threads where people said inane comments and everyone roasted them for making excuses and to “fuck off with that doog shit”. I laffed and realized that I loved it. Because I’m a Doog through and through, I get hyped and I fall in love with the team, but I consider myself rational and logical and I don’t like to excuse shit that sucks. I wanted a team that wins like I saw in my childhood for such a long time, and have been looking for people that felt the same.
Next think you know I saw that @insinceredawg had poasted my Doogman poast (he grabbed it before it was deleted). He asked which one of you wrote this, and I decided then and there to sign up, no waiting or lurking necessary.
I wanted the name Doog Shit because it resonated with my hatred of what I saw at Doogman. I’m also a huge South Park fan and specifically Randy Marsh. I love the Katie Courics largest shit episode, and bada bing bada boom, I had my handle and avatar.
The strangest thing is that at Doogman I had less than a dozen poasts total despite being there years. Almost immediately I realized that I didn’t want to be a lurker like I was at Doogman, and from the start I poasted all the time here. I felt like I was ready for the big leagues.
So that’s the story.
TL:DR - I get free pub every time someone says Doog Shit, and I love FREE PUB BUTTFUCKERS!!!!
