I’m 81% sure I’ve said something similar on another thread @Doogles, but podcasting well takes practice. Everyone I know that does it has said it took them several episodes before they found their confidence/rhythm. The fact you’re doing so well two episodes in is amazing.

As I was just telling someone who shall remain nameless, I kinda lose immersion when Derek goes into his super polite and apologetic mode. I get it - it's the real Derek...
But Stalin would calmly tell @Doogles he would live to see his entire family perish in Stalin's Gulag if he interrupted him or paid attention to another call, let alone made Joseph think his call had been dropped.

@Gladstone made me a 13 seed and I went up against the worlds biggest bully. I was angry and bitter about my seeding and eventual loss to @dnc but Gladdy said some things that cut deep and made a better poaster who is now worthy of a higher seed, say 11.
