Already feels like a fake season. I'll obviously watch but the pac is basically playing an exhibition season if the BIG returns in October.
New coach, new scheme, exhibition season? Shitty situation for program development IMO. -

I used to care even when UW sucked ass.
Ill probably watch the games I can easily watch, but Im not going to go out of my way to pay extra, stay up until 2 am, and watch them lose to Cal in an ash covered stadium on a pirated porn site.
Pete quit, the athletic department quit, the players and coaches are as apathetic to get back on the field as their play on the field for the past couple of years...
In the meantime Ill find a sidechick, maybe UW will hit the gym and rekindle things, but I doubt it. -

I'm Doogles, I'll always care. I don't know if it will be the same for awhile though. The circumstances regarding all the shut downs and politics at every level have me disheartened and exhausted.
Basketball is my favorite sport to play, love watching it, haven't watched a minute of the bubble season.
Enough is enough, I'm investing my time and money into other areas that don't vilify America every second.
But I'll never be capable of pretending I don't care about UW football. I'm just not shelling out aimlessly anymore. -

Even though my mood has taken a decidedly negative and bitchy turn as of late, I recognize my factory default setting is one of hope. After all, isn’t the old saying that a cynic is merely a disillusioned romantic?
If (and this is the biggest fucking IF ever) the Pac 12 and UW football announced that they were playing tomorrow I wouldn’t watch. I’m not going to start buying UW gear again, not renewing my season tickets, etc.
And why should I? I’ve outlined in numerous poasts over the last year how they’ve let me down. I won’t bother repeating all the (five+) reasons.
Until the conference, the AD, the team, and the university makecataclysmichuge changes, they are not worthy of my time or money.

I'll probably watch but my enthusiasm will be on par for what it was for the Fight Kraft Redbox bowl that we played in last season. It will be extra special when UW goes 7-4 in a conference only exhibition schedule where players are injured and prevented from playing in the 2021 season.
I'll be equally as happy if it all blows up and UW football never plays a down of D1 football again. They obviously don't value or appreciate it so just end it and be done with it. -
