Even though my mood has taken a decidedly negative and bitchy turn as of late, I recognize my factory default setting is one of hope. After all, isn’t the old saying that a cynic is merely a disillusioned romantic?
If (and this is the biggest fucking IF ever) the Pac 12 and UW football announced that they were playing tomorrow I wouldn’t watch. I’m not going to start buying UW gear again, not renewing my season tickets, etc.
And why should I? I’ve outlined in numerous poasts over the last year how they’ve let me down. I won’t bother repeating all the (five+) reasons.
Until the conference, the AD, the team, and the university makecataclysmichuge changes, they are not worthy of my time or money.
THAT BEING FUCKING SAID...
I’m not going to deny if Jimmy Lake turns this team back into a winner I won’t at least take *some* passing interest in the team. How much of an interest? For how long? How the fuck would I know?
