Sure doesn’t say much for Boston U that someone who doesn’t know how tax breaks work graduated cum laude from their business school. Even deBlasio had to call out her laughable ignorance on the Amazon tax breaks.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foxnews.com/politics/de-blasio-ocasio-cortex-claim-spending-amazon-tax-break-money.amp

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio suggested on Sunday that critics of the potential Amazon campus New York City — such as Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — got the facts wrong over the money behind the tax breaks.

On Sunday morning, de Blasio responded in the affirmative when Chuck Todd of NBC News’ “Meet the Press” asked if the tax breaks offered to Amazon weren’t “money you had over here. And it was going over there.”

The Democratic mayor said: “And that $3 billion that would go back in tax incentives was only after we were getting the jobs and getting the revenue.”

AOC knew exactly how those tax breaks worked. She also knew that the greater public is almost completely tax illiterate and would be easily convinced that NYC was "paying" Amazon billions of dollars to open HQ2. Populism is easy when people are dumb.

Could be. I have my doubts solely because she only has a BA from a woke business school. She may not have ever learns corporate tax policy for municipalities. My Econ classes dealt mainly in macro-economic theory. It’s been almost 25 years since I took a course and I knew what she was saying was stupid. Maybe she just lies to come across as stupid. Like a kink for her.

I think AOC is dumber than a bag of hammers and she definitely isn't smarter than that. Here nude green eel is a case in point. She has no idea how energy works. But she has very strong feelings.

It’s not like Fred Trump was a Rockefeller, Getty, Hughes, Rothschild, Mars, Johnson, or Koch who had generational wealth. Donald Trump got some seed money and is now President and a multi-billionaire. He grew his loan exponentially was already rich when his dad died

Hunter Biden lives in a $12,000 a month pad in Beverley Hills yet claims he’s too pour to pay child support for his bastard from the stripper. He’s never really worked a day in his life and he’s in hiding now. Joe and Jill don’t even acknowledge their bastard grandson.

What happened to Mary Trump, by the way? She was a big deal not long ago.

@Baseman could learn a lot from Trump on his “Billionaire Boys Club” forum.

Why aren’t Fred Trump’s other children billionaire moguls?

$400 million seed money? Trump would be far wealthier had he parked his grubstake in the SP 500. Instead he BK'd twice and tubed the USFL. Hell of an entertainer, though.

That’s a blatant lie about the seed money. We’re not talking about inheritance for all the Trumps after Trump took Fred’s NYC company from a local slumlord business to a global real estate empire.

If you want to lie, that’s fine. Just own it.

The worst part about trump is that my mom gave me art of the deal when I was in 6th grade and I loved it and it was one of my favorites. Wanted to be a real estate developer.

Now if I said that I'd be crucified by the mob.
