Remember that many Oregon players are part of the strike. I can't see the SEC welcoming any PAC-12 team into this temporary conference with that shit going on. I also can't picture any PAC-12 school voluntarily playing a season that they were able do duck and thus forcing themselves to deal with the strike head-on.

I'm not being serious, just messing around on the boards on a Tuesday morning

The strike has nothing to do with whether there is football or not

I’m not a PAC 12 basher although we? do lack elite programs, but Oregon wouldn’t even go .500 if they played in the new SEC with Clemson, Ohio State, and Penn State added.

This is all stupid. Just make this happen. Tie in the NFL franchises in some flimsy way to try and draw in those fans. Maybe those times get dibs on that program's undrafted free agents. *Means a program I think would be in debate to not be included. Save an at-large Playoff spot for 1-2 teams from the division below this.

    Big 10

    West

    1. Washington (Seahawks)*
    2. Oregon (49ers)*
    3. USC (Rams)
    4. UCLA (Chargers)
    5. Arizona State (Cardinals)* - I know it's a shitty program but it's a huge and growing region which might buy in someday
    6. Utah (Broncos)* - same as ASU
    7. Texas (Cowboys)
    8. Oklahoma (Raiders)

    East

    1. Nebraska* (Bills)
    2. Iowa* (Bengals)
    3. Minnesota* (Vikings)
    4. Wisconsin (Packers)
    5. Michigan (Lions)
    6. Michigan State (Bears)
    7. Ohio State (Browns)
    8. Penn State (Eagles)

    SEC

    West

    1. Texas A&M (Texans)
    2. TCU* (Steelers)
    3. LSU (Saints)
    4. Missouri* (Chiefs)
    5. Mississippi (Jets)
    6. Tennessee (Titans)
    7. Alabama (Giants)
    8. Auburn (Patriots)

    East

    1. Florida (Jaguars)
    2. Florida State (Buccaneers)
    3. Miami (Dolphins)
    4. Georgia (Falcons)
    5. Clemson (Ravens)
    6. North Carolina* (Panthers)
    7. Virginia Tech* (Commanders)
    8. Notre Dame (Colts)

Programs I think would be in the debate to be included: Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Illinois, Pitt, Boston College, Houston, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland

I think Cal, Colorado and Stanford are maybe in discussion simply because of their markets.
