And regarding a vaccine, as I've been saying, don't count on it. 2003 SARS never got one.

I don't recall ever having
An attempt to track cases and deaths daily with a Jerry Lewis tote board
An insistence that everyone needs a test
The requirement for a vaccine before we get out from under the bed
And of course months long economic destruction due to lock downs
Something stinks. Simple fact

Yeah.... the pandemic is well under control in King County and Seattle. Seems like the rest of the state is doing their own thing so good luck to them I guess.GrundleStiltzkin said:RaceBannon said:The pandemic will continue to grow if nothing changes noted Inslee as he advocated not changing his policy

The positivity rate in Seattle is between 1-2% and King County it's going down nearing 3%. I'm sure he's suggesting that there's a huge problem to scare people but it's not true.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Just an FYI, this particular move by Garcetti is in direct response to a large party at a multi-million dollar house party on Mulholland Drive, where there was a shooting with a fatality this week. The news articles also, of course, mentioned that there were very few masks visible on the party goers. Technically, the (near) Beverly Hills owners would be getting their utilities shut off, even though the house was apparently rented for the party and the authorities have said the shooting appears to be gang related.Pitchfork51 said:

But I don’t doubt that they will use this new “authorization” to push it too far with “regular” people’s homes and get togethers as well...

Garcetti clearly doesn't know his constituents.
Shutting down a house party in S. Central won't end well.... especially if BBQ and gin & juice are involved.
