Essentially, what is being said here is you are under arrest, fight to get away from the cops, steal a weapon in the process, and then shoot the weapon at the cops, the cops are supposed to let the criminal run away or at best, only give chase.

The guy was on probation for cruelty to children, false imprisonment, simple battery and family violence battery.
The lawyers see a payday and the family is full of shit. I am tired of this crap. -
The media needs to share all the details...but they won't because they like riots and anarchy.

it will be a conviction (to calm things down to just ghetto riots)
then out free on appeal (kept quiet or taking a couple of years)
and then drop charges because he was fired (gets the innocent cop off the hook)
and settle out of court for seven figures (report this as back pay to appease the masses).
