What the fuck is this abomination? These new Looney Tunes cartoons are absolute trash. You can never compete with the talent and budget Warner Bros. had back in the 40s and 50s. Just listen to the explosions and voice acting. Look at the gags. Look at the directorial style. What a joke. These people behind these new cartoons clearly don't know what the fuck they're doing.

Uh, using a scythe to gore a rabbit isn't much better??? -
Cartoon version of CaddyShack 2 or BluesBrothers 2000. Take your pick.

I raised my two kids on Classic Looney Tunes DVDs, because anything since the 1970s is bland and unfunny. My wife used to sit and laugh with them for hours. She grew up on them. I had paper routes, sports and work, so I never really had the time as a kid.Fenderbender123 said:What the fuck is this abomination? These new Looney Tunes cartoons are absolute trash. 18 & 21 years later, both are in college and funny AF. No question much of their humor and intelligence is from those old shows. Tranny Issues? Nothing better than Bugs in lipstick. Gun violence? Elmer Fudd & Wile-E-Coyote. Quick decision-making? Roadrunner. Keep it simple? Roadrunner, again. I suspect my kids' kids will be home schooled and the Looney Tunes DVDs will be a healthy chunk of their curricula. -

Looney tunes always had some adult humor inserted that adults appreciated. There was a long time where they weren't aired because they were too violent! I also made sure they got to watch them along with the Three Stooges and The Little Rascals.TurdBomber said:

IMPROMPTU POLE:
Which board member is,
- Buggs Bunny?
- Elmer Fudd?
- Pepe LePew?
- Wyle E Coyote
- Road Runner
Pretty sure I know who the Gopher Indians are. -
Looney Tunes were the greatest thing ever. Seeing Bugs slap someone so hard across their face that the only thing left behind was his hand print always cracked me up. Or when he stepped out of the house that was plunging to Earth at the last possible second, standing harmlessly to the side as the house is left in jumbled ruins?
Oh - and this gif alone makes Looney Tunes legendary.

I remember being at a Globe Trotters exhibition game as a kid and JP Patches showed up. Patches Pals Pandemonium ensued. He was incredibly popular. The Count (Nightmare Theater) was a local fixture back in the day as well, though nowhere near as popular as JP Patches.SFGbob said:

We should both keep this in mind as we approach election season. The GOP and the DNC are both going to tell us how fucked up the other one is, but the fact remains we're pretty close to the same person. Why do we let the parties live on the margin where we disagree, when we live 98% of our lives in agreement?
They're both pretty good at what they do, I'll give them that. Race Bannon is never going to be on my enemy list, though. They aren't that good.
Fuck the parties - I'm ready to sit down with Race for a beer and the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour. -
