Last I checked carrying a weapon for self defense is legal in WA. Seattle's protests haven't even remotely been "peaceful" with the presence of the black block and their dipshit friends. Even the liberal media has armed guards at this point so why shouldn't a normal citizen be allowed to carry? Oh right, in IC's world it's all white supremacists looting and rioting...which would still mean that normal citizens should protect themselves.
You have zero evidence of why this encounter started. None. All you have are your assumptions based on a narrative you already believe in which doesn't qualify for Occam's razor no matter how much you wish it to be true.
Either party could have been the antagonist that began that encounter with the available evidence but either way you are a dipshit drawing conclusions based on pre-existing narratives.
Even then, in states like Washington and California you can be charged with excessive force and assault if the original perpetrator is no longer considered a threat and is attempting to flee. That's your team's dumbass fucking laws.
I'm withholding judgement on what actually happened and saying this is what the evidence shows atm.
