Per @GrundleStiltzkin’s request, the Fall of Troy is more than we could have ever imagined.

During their West of the Rest podcast, Huffman and Angulo mentioned that so far when talking to the 2021 recruits, there are consistently 3-4 schools who keep popping up.

Oregon and Washington dominate the conversation, but the 3rd and 4th teams always brought up are none other than the South division Blue Bloods we’ve all grown up with: Cal and ASU.

Wilcox and Herm have been gaining a lot of momentum on the trail.

USC and UCLA are an after thought in recruits minds it seems.

If Stanford can win the South so can Cal!

Whelp, it seems the time to make fun of USC recruiting has passed us. Helton is on fire right now.

9 commits, 7 that are four stars, and Korey Foreman about to flip from Clemson.

It was fun while it lasted.

I’d wait until half time of week 1 before rushing to judgement. Being down 28-3 at the half isn’t going to keep many of these kids in the fold. As Helton’s seat gets warmer and warmer, many of these kids will look elsewhere.
