Seattle hospitals were NEVER at capacity nor were there contingent overflow facilities at capacity nor was there medical personnel staff available to staff said hoax field hospital even if they were full.

That said, social distancing seemed like a reasonable and effective measure. 6', wash your hands, etc. I could even get on board with closing schools for a while.
Crashing the entire economy and shuttering virtually all businesses probably, in my opinion, was not needed. That's where the went too far. When the bodies don't stack up like cordwood in countries who didn't go as far as we did, that will be an interesting data point.

Could we make cars more safe? Sure...but they'd be too damn expensive. People die.
How about freeways? Sure could. Costs too much. People die.

How about our water supply? Do people die from lead or get illnesses? Yep. Why, because it costs too much to fix it?
