This seems like a bad idea

Let's hear the TugTard excuses on why every state shouldn't move to mail-in voting.

I was told Trump would cancel elections.
-
You know how hard it is to get the average Millenial to take something to the damn mailbox?
I'm all for mail in ballots but I don't think they would be the boon for turnout that many think they would. -
I have no strong opinions on mail-in voting either way (hai @CirrhosisDawg ). But as that bully above me said, not aware of anything that shows it's a panacea for turnout.
-
A lot easier to cheat by mail. Even H admits that
If someone is too fucking lazy to register and vote then fuck them. It obviously isn't a priority. It is incredibly easy to vote.
I have an idea - why don't the democrats stop nominating horrible candidates then they can shut the fuck up for a change -
I vote twice each and every election - one for me and one for my wife. I love voting by mail.

Unless you live in a poor area in a Red state where voters have to wait for hours at polling places. It's fucking 2020, why do polling places still exist?RaceBannon said:A lot easier to cheat by mail. Even H admits that

There's no evidence that there's more cheating with mail in voting. That's a Republican myth because they know if every registered voter votes they'll lose in a landslide.

Polling places exist because people died for your right to get off of your lazy ass and register and vote
If someone is too stupid to do that WDWTA -
Voter fraud. Dems are already committing massive voter fraud it's only be worse.insinceredawg said:https://www.foxnews.com/politics/wisconsin-primary-underway-coronavirus

This subject has been studied. The fact is voter "turnout" declines in mail-in jurisdictions.
Not surprised Democrats would champion an idea to subvert the will of the people. Not surprised at all. -
@insinceredawg
By the way California has vote by mail. Yet Twitter was full of complaints about how Bernie voters were stuck in long lines in California
You really can't fix stupid. Many states have vote by mail. There is nothing to say they can't.
Voter turnout being low isnt a process problem it's a voter problem -
You don't give a fuck about Wisconsin and voters and you don't give a fuck about all the poor Red Staters standing in line for minutes, insinceredawg said:

That must have been in the Red parts of California. -

Why do you Rats hate blacks and Hispanics IC? -
Pawz, do you have some information on that? I just had someone arguing with me how evil Republicans are and how BS the Supreme Court is for forcing this Wisconsin vote to move forward. Why wasn't it just delayed? I'm not for mail in vote as it is rife with fraud and would love to show him how turnout would actually be lower if that were the case. Seems counterintuitive to me.pawz said:insinceredawg said:https://www.foxnews.com/politics/wisconsin-primary-underway-coronavirus

Also talks about the Election Day alternative. It’s from 2013, but somehow I doubt the voting process has improved enough to contradict the study from 7 years ago -

Racist I know, but still .. -
Show of hands, how many people here have ever waited more that 15 mins to vote? I think I waited about 5 mins one time to vote in a Presidential election. Most elections the polling places are ghost towns.
-
Got to love this quote. I guess 41% of the voters being white means they get forgotten when writing about long lines in polling places. Only the black and hispanic voters mattered for the purposes of this lame vox article. Jeezus you rats love to stretch the truth to suit your politics.insinceredawg said:

I vote in an area with almost the same exact demographics, I had to read about how bad the lines were at my polling place. It was an exaggerated lie and one that the liar Stacy Abrams continues to use in her speeches as an example of mythical racist polling places.
Many of the sites with long waits were in Harris County, where about 40 percent of the population is Latino and 19 percent of the population is African American. At one elementary school, the line was an hour long.
Oh my gosh!!!!!!!! An hour long at peak times! The horror! How racist can it get?
What a fucking joke.

According to a report by the Leadership Conference Education Fund, a civil rights group, Texas has closed about 750 polling sites since 2012, including 542 sites in 50 counties where African American and Latino populations have significantly grown in recent years. With fewer polling sites available, it’s not surprising that voters in Harris County were facing long wait times on Tuesday night. -
Ballot harvesting is real in mail-in California. The Dems are very good at it. Just like when they used to pay the Irish to vote. Same party machine as it ever was.
-
As the fence sitter I am, I’m on board with that. Mexico’s voter ID cards are great, but that would take eons to roll out National in the states.pawz said:
