Triage isn't "everyone over 60 can die"

Triage is allocating scarce resources based on the odds of survival. Sorry old boy. We all have to go sometime.

I'm sure politicians over 60 are being treated...
Awesome. Sometimes the connected people do better in life. Have you called the newspapers?

Meanwhile, scarce resources do have to be allocated.

Triage is cutting the brake lines of a tour bus transporting attorneys through the mountains.

    I'm not 60.

Glad to live in a system where nepotism isn't the sole decider for who is "triage" and who isn't.

Ahh yes. When socialized medicine fails those it brags that it protects, you always get rats with the same old worn out line "we all have to go sometime".

Never mind those that are 60 are going to live another quarter century. To rats it is their socialized medicine or nothing. Rats like HH truly don't believe they will ever go without healthcare no matter what age. They truly believe they are the elites and dying at a relatively young age is for the little people.

We’ve had death panels for decades and we’ll continue to have death panels. That is not a point in contention.

I guess there was once some golden age of American medicine when everyone lived till 85. When was that?

I suppose we could auction the ventilators off. Working age people with kids shouldn’t be preferred, obviously.

The average age of life expectancy in Italy is 83.4 years. If my rounding up to 85 is a win for you in this argument I think everyone else can understand my point. Socialists determining that 60 year olds who will on average live another 23.33 years will die due to lack of care or caring is very soylent greenish and liberal elitist. It means your socialist healthcare nirvana has failed at its very roots.
