He isn't Trump and people think he is their best chance to beat Trump. That's his platform. The party would have been more than happy to give the nomination to Bloomberg if they thought he was the person who could beat Trump.

A midget who sounds funny isn't the best candidate.

It was historic in the sense that Biden won.

The man has no platform. No one can tell you what he stands for or what his thesis is for his policies.

He has run the worst campaign ever for a guy who just won Super Tuesday. Even Clyburn said his campaign was a mess. He had zero money, zero momentum and a shell of a staff on the ground in states. Volunteer staff was one of the weakest in the field and he seemed disassociated himself.

Bidens debates were horrible. He would ramble on about nothing and was inappropriate in his inflections while he was droning on off topic and making no sense .

On stump speeches he was caught outright lying numerous times. Its as if he doesn't understand that there is this thing called the internet and even people as dumb as Owl can google in two seconds and prove that he never went to jail in Africa, or stumped for civil rights during the marches. He continues to lie and not one rat MSM called him out on it.

Worse yet is his clearly onset of dementia. Even many on the left are recognizing it and calling it what it is. Yet they voted for him.

Yes this truly was a historic night.

Polling is not to be believed. Intelligent people know this. But two weeks before Super Tuesday, Bernie was leading in almost every state. In some states by a pretty big margin.

Then the party went to work.

The power of the rat party and their media put on a show the last week and a half. I mean it was an awesome show of control and power over a group of voters. I have never seen it this powerful and obvious before. In unison every liberal talking head laid it on Bernie. They got their marching orders and like they have done thousands of times before, they all pushed the gas peddle down and drove down the same road in unison only this time it was an about face many talking heads had to do. A week earlier they were espousing the many virtues of Bernie. They did what they were told however.

Basically, in a week and a half the powers that be in the rat party, the elites of the elite, decided they were going to take control. They did an amazing job of it. They took a lazy, unprepared, undeclared platform wise, broke, dementia laden candidate who has proven himself to be a grifter, liar and not all that intelligent, and forced him on the rat electorate and they did exactly what the rat elitist power brokers manipulated them do. They voted Biden.

I have to give the rat leaders props. They know how to change the landscape and do it in rapid fashion. Very impressive.

I have to say, I agree with this. First thing that popped into my head was, "What are they voting for? What's the play here?"

It's an off year election with a surprisingly strong incumbent who everyone was supposed to hate so you get the dregs

If the 2024 field is this bad the yes, there is a problem

That is clear but how the masses were manipulated by the rat press and the elites was masterful. I don't care if it was Bernie who was behind and they put him in the cats seat. It was proof of how powerful the few are and how easily manipulated the masses are. The talking heads weren't going on and on about Biden, they were trashing bernie. Biden was hardly mentioned.

Or it could be as simple as there are still a bunch of moderate Dem voters who don't want a non-Democrat, communist on their ticket in 2020.

Biden sucks. Much of the criticism I see of him in this space is merited.

But imagine thinking that the Bernie Bros taking a beating is a bad thing for America. Fuck them and their "gimme free shit Revolution".
Hence, Mini Mike. Biden, to me, is like dry toast. I don't hate it, but is there anything else? Why am I voting for this guy to run the country and not, say, my neighbor? Or my father-in-law? Or my uncle? Or Jimmy Lake Shitballz? Or Mike Hopkins? Fuck. Why don't I run? At least you'd know where I stand on something.

I really can't believe what has happened to the Democratic party. It is an organization in deep trouble; they don't know who they are.

I'm still flabbergasted over the fact that Bernie is even a threat. Again. But that's just me.
There are enough people floating around that have been indoctrinated by the lefties in our educational systems. That's why socialism is back. They no longer teach anything but revisionist history and it's been revidsed by people with an agenda. If we don't fix the education system we may well be doomed at some point. Most snap out of it when they go to work after school but a larger percentage every year just sits and seathes with envy and apply no effort to life but want everything. Taking it from someone who has it sounds sensible to them.

WHY CAN'T THIS COUNTRY FIND ONE GOD DAMN COMPETENT CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT?

I think at this point the last Presidential election which wasn't contested by retards was Clinton vs Bush.

Clinton bangs hot chicks and is likeable. Why not run someone like that?
They ran Cory Booker. He bangs hot chicks. Oh, you said likeable. I'll show myself out.
More accurately, Cory bangs guys and has a hot chick who is a beard for him.

Biden leads Trump in the polls still

It will be a tough race but Joe has to stay on his feet for many more months. Hillary couldn't hack it

This is an excellent point. Much has been made about how soft Bidens schedule has been and he can;t stand up to that. Say what you about The Great Orange one, but this fat bastard has energy for days. Biden looks like a nice old Grandpa at a retirement home. Trump moves around with a purpose. No way Biden can stand up to the pressure and pace of a legit Presidential race while getting twatter roasted daily. Then again, Biden's best chance is probably to stay hidden. Just park him somewhere in the Midwest and bring him out every few days to say some shit that doesn't make much sense, then lock him back in a room while the Democratic machine does it's thing. The more he says, the worse he looks.
If Biden has to debate Trump, it's going to be Tyson vs Spinks.
I'm not so sure. Trump isn't really some expert debater. He was great at trashing Hillary but everyone already hated Hillary.

Culture is trending badly as Sleddog points out. We aren’t there yet, but the socialists have pretty much take over the entire public education system and much of the “private” education system. Each year millions of poorly educated but indoctrinated youngsters are released into the public square.

There literally are no good democrats left in the traditional sense. Bloomberg was a great mayor. He continued Rudy’s stop and frisk programs that targeted black on black crime and saved thousands of black kids lives and knocked crime down all over New York including black and Hispanic neighborhoods.

Yet, Bloomberg couldn’t run on that record in the dem primaries and was forced to adopt the leftard politically correct view of crime and disavow his successful program and get back to blaming whitey. Al Sharpton and the BLM movement clearly have a veto power over any dem candidate running for major office. There isn’t going to be a Sister Souljah moment. Frankly, there isn’t a real big difference philosophically between Bernie and barry. Barry was just a little more circumspect. Pelosi was badgered by the base into supporting a ridiculous impeachment.

The closest thing to a moderate democrat running this year for president was Tulsi and she got no support and she is way to the left of blue dog Bubba.

Bloomberg should have been a part of the new GOP coalition which looks a lot like your dad's democrat party. Trump would have stood tall behind stop and frisk and defended it. People are not looking for weak kneed apologists from either party.

Trump has changed politics for a generation. Those who understand that will win.

Reagan changed conservatism but the GOP couldn't wait to be rid of him for the NE establishment Bush who apologized for being conservative.

The GOP couldn't wait to get right of Ronnie? He's the Patron Saint of the party for crying out loud. What was the 1994 Revolution? Those guys and gals were all the ideological heirs of Reagan.

And what happened before that? Compassionate conservatism is an apology for Reagan being mean to grandma and starving children. Read my lips became raise my taxes. Bush sold out the Reagan Revolution and lost the White House

1994 was a long time ago. And a faded memory. Trump is closer to Reagan than W or any of the refuse that ran against him. The GOP don't care. National Review Never Trump.

    They can all fuck off

Reagan cut taxes. Reagan raised taxes too when folks used to care about the deficits. Bush broke his campaign promise and raised taxes to help control deficits. The economy in the 90s didn't seem to mind.

Bush 41 didn't become President because the GOP Establishment hated Reagan. He was the VP of a very popular and successful President. Pretty hard to keep those type of guys from getting the nomination.
