I didn’t even realize Oregon State had the same conference record as us last year. It’s not crazy. We need to prove Wilner wrong. Most seem to think similarly to him other than PFF.

I don’t think we will be very good until it’s proven otherwise. It’s easy to see the holes we could have and a new head coach we don’t know if he’s even good. An OC that coaches terrible offenses at a big school at his last stop too.

UW will win the north. You heard it here...first? I'm going with the "we dont suck until we do" approach.

I wont let any of you on. It's my wagon.

It was right at about this point last year when I went off on Wilner's predictions of both bay area teams beating Washington and Oregon winning the conference. I typed up some long screed about how there was absolutely no data to support this. The logic behind it seemed to be:
1.) Herbert (who I pointed out hadn't done shit)
2.) Oregon's recruiting class (which I pointed out was neck and neck with Washington's, and it's a bad thing anyway when true freshmen are being counted on for a season's success)
3.) Washington losing the defense and Browning and Gaskin

On this last point, I saw it as Eason > Browning, which turned out to be incorrect (fight me), Wellington and a gaggle of young stud linebackers being better than BBK being the entire linebacking corps, the youngest two DL classes + Onwuzurike being at least as good as the outgoing DL, Tryon being a year improved, and the DBs continuing to be UW DBs. Losing a lot of starters is where the mature, stable Chris Petersen program would really shine through.

Fast forward, and that fucker Wilner was right about everything and the universe no longer made sense.

So, once again, I could point out that Oregon lost the equivalent of their Browning this year and have just as big of a question mark at QB, they lost all but one experienced offensive lineman (but that one is really good), etc., but that would just mean the Huskies would go 0-12, so I won't.

    Cliff notes?
A billion genetic accidents followed by a series of poor life choices and lack of effort have left you with the intelligence and attention span of a goldfish?

I gave up on life shortly before I got here. More poor life choices then anything... really just putting things where I shouldn’t. 3 times to be exact.
