We're all on Jimmy's side, we want to succeed. Will he win back confidence when he starts getting the big commits, of course. But that's all gone if we get boat raced by Michigan or we go 7-6.

I'm just saying that will get fans more excited. A recruit like Troy Franklin commits to Washington in the next three months, the enthusiasm goes back up. Then comes the Michigan game which will dictate if it's kept or not. As far as me, my feelings have not changed with Jimmy. I'm still in wait and see mode and won't form a opinion until next season is over.

Beating Michigan and winning 10+ would go a long way. I’m just having a hard time seeing that happen and have predicted all along that Jimmy won’t match what Pete did.

I'm not saying that as if it doesn't matter. Obviously you need elite talent to win. But, fuck recruiting because it's the drug that keeps people coming back for more and keeps coaches in place who should be fired (Romar was a great example). People get way too hung up on recruiting as the first step to building a program. It's not.
I'll be on Jimmy's side if he wins. If he lands good recruits and we go 7 - 6 he can fuck right off. -
