He was already a redshirt junior and had played four games before getting knocked out. Iffy that he would even be given a redshirt. His options would have been limited without the head injuries.WilburHooksHands said:

He probably was a fringe NFL guy to begin with. After being out so long, I doubt he gets a chance even if he gets cleared. -
