Do you want to bring back slavery? Hey why stop just at the playoffsYellowSnow said:Also, comrades, the NFLization of college football is a prime example of the fact that the free market doesn't not always enhance our quality of life. We need to amend the Constitution to abolish the play off and require 4 years of ball in exchange for scholarships. Who's with me?

NFL fans are definitely low IQ slack jaw Montana bigger flipper types. Always obsess and always wearing their team jersey with some dudes names on it. Cuckishcreepycoug said:
I hate the NFL. I find it boring and it's fans boorish and stupid and over-the-top.YellowSnow said:
Seriously, of all the filtering questions I ask people: College vs NFL usually give me 81% success rate on determining whether I will like someone or not.creepycoug said:
I love the NFL, because it validates my natural hatred for the kids.YellowSnow said:I hate the fucking NFL because it makes me hate the kids. Fuck you 12s you worthless pieces of shit.

All kidding aside. This is one of those topics where economis (i.e., Tug territory) chintersects with our bemoaning with what has become of college football. The kids are just responding more and more to what the market wants them to do.PurpleBaze said:

It's sad, really sad. We have to let the market do it's thing to have the highest standard of living, but the by product of this is that if a majority of consumers have shitty taste, you're gonna get shitty products.MikeDamone said:
So I can't stop spend my money on college football? Is this like Obamacare? If I like my college football, I can keep it. But they took a way my college football and I still have to buy it?YellowSnow said:
Nah, that just means west coast CFB will continue to go down the shitter. There's not enough of folks like us in the economy, Mikey. The NFL is king because we are a country mostly of mouth breathers and booger eaters. We got where we are today because these idiots had to have a Super Bowl for college football and REAL National Champion.MikeDamone said:

TV ad dollars made it so coaches could buy fancy boats and drink fucking lattes. Don James couldn't afford that shit. -

Yep. But if it's all about money - which is how it's been trending for years - then we need to kill off the bowl system entirely since it's mostly waste of time, meaningless games that kids will sit out. There needs to be a 32 team super conference with an 8 teams play off. WSU, OSU, Arizona, etc can go have their own league with the Group of 5 teams.FireCohen said:
