No wonder he didn't care that Rapp sat out the Rose Bowl. Maybe Petersen should have done the same on January 1.

I lost my goddamn mind in the stadium over that
-
I was watching the game with a buddy and we were laughing about the punt and making up scenarios where that punt was the turning point for us winning the game.

Jadeveon Clowney is continuing to play on a bad hip that doctors have reportedly warned could get worse. But Clowney says this Seahawks team has a chance to do special things and he wants to be a part of it, despite him about to become a free agent. Then you look at Taylor Rapp and its just hard to understand how he passed up a chance to play in the Rose Bowl with his teammates.PurpleBaze said:No wonder he didn't care that Rapp sat out the Rose Bowl. I mean Clowney's made $22 million before 2019 and is making $16 million this season. I agree it's hard to understand Rapp sitting out if he truly could have played but these situations aren't apples to apples.DerekJohnson said:

It is hard for a lot of old timers to accept this but the kids do not really care about bowl games. It’s playoffs or nothing. That became pretty clear last year.DerekJohnson said:

Which is why I believe the playoff as it stands destroyed the sport. It feels like 90% of the teams play a season full of exhibition games.AtomicDawg said:

To my eye it seems like the teams still ball out to try and win the conference regardless. Once eliminated from that it is about putting it on the tape for the nfl.MikeDamone said:

Also uw may have been more excited about the rose bowl if they hadn’t been to the playoff and fiesta bowl the preceding years. But cfb as I grew up with it is dead.
After watching that performance last year i determined i would never spend money on a bowl game unless it was the playoffs. I am not going to be invested if the players aren’t.

Remember his first game at home against Oregon where he punted from the duck 40 on the opening drive?HuskyJW said:With 4:00 left in RB
