Not showtime and really more of a grind it out, defensive team which is probably what LeBron needs at this point of his career.RaceBannon said:The Lakers jumped out to a crisp 31-5 lead over the HAWKS Sunday
I find myself recording and watching the weekend games. Showtime
The Lakers did a great job of getting defenders to put around LeBron. Both Green and Bradley are very good defenders and they can get hit from the outside, especially Green.
With LeBron and AD, they can bring the Clips and other high scoring teams to a halt by throwing it into the post and making it a half court game. -
I know we are supposed to think Paul George is a loser, which he has been, but they have great role players around Kawhi and PG13. They probably need to still get a good defensive center. Harrell is much improved the last few years and a beast down low but they need someone to compliment him.UW_Doog_Bot said:
I haven't been paying attention at all and couldn't name either roster but if this is the case I like #myLakers. Clippshow are historically the Mets or the COOG and will blow it until they prove otherwise.CuntWaffle said:It’s Lakers/Clippers. Let’s not kid ourselves and pretend the Rockets don’t do this and dominate the regular season every year. They will Roocket it up in post season unless someone bangs trash cans and lets them know when the other team will switch up from zone to man.

George is a loser
Joining a team doesn't change that
We'll see if Kawhi can carry him -
It looks like Capela has actually finally taken the leap he was supposed to have taken the last year or two. This is the first year I can remember the players saying they need to get their shit together on defense. It seems like Harden and Russ are at the perfect points in their careers to play together and Russ has no problem letting Harden go (and is still getting his numbers).RoadDawg55 said:
I like this Rockets team much more than their teams in the last. They have continuity with a lot of their core and despite his flaws, Westbrook’s athleticism and motor was needed and is an upgrade over what Chris Paul brought.WilburHooksHands said:

That's how you get the run game going

Being the Clippers Kawhi will blow out his knee and George will hurt his vagina againUW_Doog_Bot said:

Still convinced the Lakers could use Jamal Crawford to inject some offense into the lineup when the shots aren’t falling. LeBron should appreciate what a veteran scorer can do for his ring chances.
-
This is stupid and if Crawford wasn’t from Seattle you wouldn’t be saying this. He wouldn’t make them any better. He’s not good. He’s also over 40. His game is fun to watch at times but he’s never been an actually good player.ThomasFremont said:Still convinced the Lakers could use Jamal Crawford to inject some offense into the lineup when the shots aren’t falling. Dude, he’s 55th all time in scoring.RoadDawg55 said:

Ray Allen was old too, and not exactly a defensive force. -
You can’t compare the two. One is a hall of famer and perennial All Star. The other maxed out as a 6th man that never won anything.ThomasFremont said:

Crawford has an aesthetically pleasing game. He was never efficient and I’m not sure he really made any team of his markedly better, even in his prime. He’s been done for three years. The Lakers and nobody else want him for a reason. You’re crazy to think he would get any minutes on the Lakers in the playoffs.
You would not be hyping Crawford as being able to help if he wasn’t from Seattle. That’s a fact.
