Nothing like 11% interest to keep housing prices down.

Did Rick come by after RB games to talk shop?

Once upon a time we had the Row Boat Opening Day party at the Rainier Beach Yacht Club. A fat chick wanted to defile me. I said no.

That's not bad for one school in a decade

Our son started at RB and made State but Mt Vernon was the bully back then

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with the 2020 election.

I used to believe the whole left-wing/overthrow the government/radical stuff was tinfoil. It is becoming more and more apparent there is a very large segment of the left who want nothing more than total upheaval of the system. Trump is simply the current useful idiot who is emboldening them to hasten that strategy.

Which is somewhat where we agree -Trump's "base" isn't going anywhere. Let's lock it in at 35 to 40%. That's a BIG number to put on the scoreboard at kickoff.

But again, that's why I don't think the *real* leftists want to win in 2020. Another four years of disunity and chaos and fuck all is just another 4 years of OK Boomers dying off and cancel culture indoctrination on the nation's campuses.

Once the whining, protest everything generation starts making money, their fake, spineless politics will disappear like a fart in the wind. Starving and fucking ugly fat girls who wear all black can only last so long.

Thank you @89ute. Conservative populist works better than @creepycoug neo-con glubbity glock.

Look, my loathing of Trump doesn't equate thinking we didn't need a course correction on the bipartisan, establishment consensus of the past 30 years on China, immigration and the nation building in shit hole countries. Rather that Trump wasn't the right guy for being the swamp drainer we need. He's far to clumsy and needs to read How To Win Frens and Influence People .
It was I who corrected my correct prior-use of terminology, all to indulge you in your pedantic mission to make me look bad.

All this bitterness over one vote.

He may not have been the right guy but he was the guy that was there. Its not like there weren't 16 choices.

He was the one that promised to act and has tried to do so. Chip Kelley was rude to boosters. They were glad when the nice Helfrich came in
As Ann Coulter likes to use in her many interviews --- he's no brain surgeon, and Lord yes, if we could build the perfect candidate we'd like to have somebody who can string two sentences together, but he's the only Republican who was "smart enough to pick up the $1,000 bill just lying there on the sidewalk."

I think that's pretty correct. I also think he's built for this movement, which requires to varying degrees a guy who will just say anything. When you have that guy, he's going to say shit that is over-the-top and occasionally stupid; but you still need him to say the other shit that a lot of people are afraid to say, so that's why you need him.

I was worried about keg beer, squeezing tits and trying to attract handjobs in my teens and twenties.

Which makes my heart hurt for today's youth and what they are missing out on while outraging and protesting.

It is true that anyone who cares or pretends to care enough to protest hasn’t had any actual fun in their lives. It’s a waste of time and never accomplishes anything.

There are retards on both sides. It’s not that hard to have common sense and be a generally good person. The religious whackos, the lib whackos, and the group think ruin the country. It doesn’t matter who is president, outrage culture is here to stay for awhile. Social media feeds it and gives these retards a place to band together.

Too much common sense and honesty for the tug. HTH

CirrhosisDawg and the HondoBros hate him.

What more proof do you need that he's the right guy at the right time?

Social media causes tremendous unhappiness, anxiety and depression, especially among Millennials and the generation following. The research has been done and it's no longer debatable.

So when somebody snidely like asks me how many retweets I get - Hi @JECornel! - (I don't tweet and could not GAF) I take no umbrage, because all I see is a person investing time and energy into a black hole of depression and hell.

Anti-Social Media, on the other hand, like these boreds? Pure Heaven.

The whole hostage thing may have not even happened if Reagan was president instead of Peanuts.

I went on record 6 months ago and said the Dems would have to try to actively lose to not beat Trump, and here we are, almost at halftime, and they are doing everything they can to make that dream a reality. There is nobody helping to MAGA more than Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schifforbrains, and the DNC!

Thanks Democrats, for all you do for America. Accidentally.

It's the late third quarter now imo, and it's too late for them to pull off a 4th quarter upset, they need more time and they're not going to get it. Thank God, the country might yet be saved from the abyss they are trying to drag it down into.

Part of me says they are doing it on purpose. The more divisive unrest they can stir up, the better for their brand.

And they should be held to account in a criminal court when the divisive unrest they stir up leads to violence and killings, which will eventually happen when groups like Antifa continue to be allowed to exist.

I was there. The hate was mainstream. SNL to the nightly news

    The hate was real.

I agree, I was there too, the hate was real and it was mainstream, SNL to nightly news as you mention, but IMHO it was less unhinged than the hate Trump has had slung at him, and the trajectories are different.

The Great Communicator, was witty and self deprecating, very likable to any reasonable and rational person. He diffused the situation and made his haters look foolish. Reagan was truly generational. Incredibly effective and blessed with insane communication skills. Easily amongst the best presidents we've ever had. The growth and opportunities he spawned are still with us.

Trump has been effective in areas that really matter, particularly on economic and judicial appointment fronts. Only a dumbass would fail to see that. But he's also been acerbic and basal. Because of this, while he makes his haters look foolish, he also gives them an out. I'm with @YellowSnow in that I wish he'd carry himself more like the gipper. But there is no way in hell the other side offers anything of value. They're truly lost. There is no other choice at this point.
