I always hated the 250-270 pins high school lineman because they need to add so much weight, but the studies in drafted NFL lineman show that guys who come in light typically get drafted higher than guys who need to drop weight.Neighbor2972 said:I was hoping we would consider a 5th olineman with some of the recent attrition/misses we've had. I'm always in favor of taking high upside tackles that have the athleticism but need to add the weight. Huff had plenty of options to go after for the 5th oline spot and he chose Peacock, this isn't settling for an inferior talent.
I like him better than both Kalepo and Buelow from last year. -

I dont think we have enough evidence yet for that to be certain. Hilbers and Kirkland have developed pretty well under Huff and Mele has looked solid as a rsFr backup. Wattenberg seems to be improving. Since when has size ever been directly correlated with run blocking? What you gain in length you sacrifice in leverage unless you’re a freak athlete who can play low and still maintain powerFirePete said:

2. Offensive Line - We average a weight of 332 lbs across the line. they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Atoe, Brostek. Dolbec, Dean. Ikehara, Schaefer etc. These boys have the attitude and are ready to rumble.
@MikeDamone taking the year off from mass poasting 5 reasons is likely the biggest reason for this years letdown.
