2019 Team is better. 2008 Team had zero depth. Made it through the none BCS schedule injury free and still had nail biter wins over Oregon St, New Mexico and TCU. Axe @Tequilla. 2008 Utes suffer a handful of losses playing a BCS/P5 schedule due to lack of depth. And I think that goes for every G5 that pops off every year. I didn't think so at first, but after a long walk in P5-ville I've gained perspective.YellowSnow said:
The fuck are you talking about? Utah won a UCF natty in 2008 and beat Satan himself.89ute said:
Exact again. This is the best Utah team ever. It will be a while before another team like this comes along again. Need help to get to the conference championship. If we make it I think we have a shot at beating Oregon. No pie in the sky expectations beyond that. Next year we are a 7 or 8 win team tops.RaceBannon said:
This is your year quite honestly89ute said:
Exactly. Couple of 4 stars and a shit load of coached up 3s. Rose Bowl ceiling on Ohio St down years when the coached up 3 stars align.RaceBannon said:Wisconsin is the Utah of the B1G

Exactly this. Coach Pete screams from the mountain top how important the te's are and how many they need to have.backthepack said:Paopao’s already gone. We have no depth at TE you retard. We moved a C to TE and we play a freshmen walk-on (he’s good but still). We have 2 scholarship tight ends that play. Culp who knows whatever. We didn’t get a single good TE in last years class.
Assuming Hunter leaves next year, well have:
Cade, Kizer (who can't stay healthy), Culp who can't get on the field and has been passed by the combo h-back/te walk on Westover. Luciano has been banished to Siberia after the false start versus Cal.
And since Jordan P went 0 for 10 last year and decided to not take anyone after the guy chose Air Force over us, minimum 1 (more than likely 2) of the true freshman will play next year out of need whether their ready or not.
Jordan is gone at the end of the year. I think Bush is "re-assigned" to passing game coordinator/tight end coach. Those will be the easy ones for Pete.
The hard one will be Gregory if he's serious about making the changes necessary to take the next step as Bob's been with him for many years. -

You’re making shit up. I went back and checked the play by plays. All of these times we got our shit pushed in on 3rd and 4th didn’t happen.RaceBannon said:They just get their shit pushed in when it counts
As the facts show
Ahmed got stuffed for no gain in the 2nd half against USC on third down. I remember the play and the OL opened a hole. Ahmed missed it.
Newton converted a 3rd and 2 vs Cal. Ahmed broke a long TD on a 4th and one. Red zone issues were the Baccallia play and the false start on the 1 yard line.
We threw twice in a row to Hunter Bryant on 3rd and 4th and 3 against Stanford. He dropped both. That happened again on 4th and 2 with a throw to Baccallia in the 3rd quarter.
Pleasant got stuffed once against Oregon before we got a first on 4th down. Then in the 4th quarter he lost two on 3rd and 2. The wildcat with a shitty RB on telegraphed plays was FS. It was a retarded play call. RB missed a block for the sack on the final drive.
The OL opens holes in the run game and has protected Eason well. He’s a statue yet still has plenty of time to throw. RB missed a block on the final drive when Eason got sacked.
Our OL is better than our DL, LB’s, secondary, and WR’s, but they suck and definitely are the reason we are 5-3. We suck as a team.
The OL is a strength and are pretty good. 2nd best in the PAC 12 after Oregon. It’s the best OL we have had under Pete. You think Ahmed is running this good without a good OL? He’s not exactly a guy who makes something out of nothing. The games are in HD. It was pretty easy to see the huge holes he had the whole game vs Oregon.
I know I went Tequilla long, but leave the fiction to DDY and the teen boi stalkers. They’re good at it. -
Jesus
They suck. Results actually matter -
The OL has been solid. Not the worst part of the offense by any means.

Ryan Day is Mark Helfrich. Eventually the wheels will come off. Just a matter of when and where. Autzen Stadium next year is as good a place as any for it to happen.
