And it had nothing to do with the fact that the Rat party pushed further to left on issues like abortion and support for the military and became more hostile toward religion and traditional values and softer on Communism? What exactly did a Southern Democrat have in common with the McGovern wing that took over the party in 1972?

Where did I say that dumbfuck? A low skilled poorly educated work force aren't able to get jobs that earn them much money, they also depress the wages of people already here with low skills and little education. This contributes to the gap between rich and poor. The "trash" as you call them here in California are all mostly Rat party supporters.
