I don't want to beat my chest, mainly because I don't want to find my old comments about how stoked for Tafisi I was in that recruiting class. If I'm just trusting my eyes, my immediate takeaways from the game were that Tafisi is our best ILB (I don't recall Wellington's name getting called a single time), Newton is our best running back, and I made my wife uncomfortable with how loudly I cheered every time a kickoff went into the end zone.
Bowman pissed me the fuck off with more than one egregious loss of contain. I'm a Bowman fan, and this wasn't his best day. -
Bowman can be super frustrating, he's really quick moving forward but laterally he's not good enough. I've always thought his best position would be DT in the Cougz 'Speed D'.
