If Wuff ever shit on us*, I haven't seen it. He wants to do his own thing without the taint of the Tug, whatever, God bless.

But agree, that forum is cataclysmic
As I say, HCH is not for everyone.

Meh, me not worried. There's some HCH crossover to BD2W but it looks to me to have much more dawgman crossover, plus a collection of Husky twitter. That is, people to have at most lurked here and would never be poasters. They're doing a different thing. For me, it's kinda boring and the forum platform itself sucks real bad. But it was fun seeing sonics shitting on Echlund the other day. Sorry, no link, I don't expect to ever find that poast again.

Anyhow, I'm glad that crowd has found a place. Dawgspeed to them.
Thanks for the reassurance. I must admit I've been concerned we'd lose a bit of our "serious" football analysis to the BD2W movement. I've lurked a bit there and it definitely has a far different flavor than HH. Hopefully, you're right and most of the market share they take is from DM.

It's funny watching the HCH flavor mixing with the more earnest audience they have.

Regarding market share, this isn't a zero sum game right now. The rising program has and will continue to bring in new fans and old ones off the sidelines. That's one thing that Chest got wrong on his way out.

And regarding your earlier concern on #filth, the great thing about the low moderation ethos we* have, the filth finds its own level over tim.
Further more, every bored here has its own culture and folks seem to respeck that for the most part. My bored got started as the outlet for those who needed a good OT space but hated the Tug. Seems to be going fine.

One thing I have no patience for is pussies who bitch to the mods. Those nutless twats should leave and never come back.

People actually bitch to the mods here? JFC -- LEAVE!!!

I don't get people like that. I take breaks from forums that get tiresome. The Tug is a place that gets extremely repetitive, is entirely monolithic in POV, and often dominated by 4 or 5 posters. Sometimes I like it; sometimes it's a real snoozer. I leave when I'm not having fun anymore. I go back when I feel like it. Simple.

Same with the Duck forum. Now that DJ fag dick is overrunning the place, I just drive by.

As a result I'm on the Husky and CFB and Yella forums moar. These days. For now.

That's the beauty of this place.

Yeah sure. I bow to the superiority of your insight and debating skills.

Agree that I am smug; in the Tug I can't help but feel like I'm from a superior gene pool.
You know who else thought that...

The crazy thing is the QB mismanagement goes far beyond just Browning.

    2012 - Cyler Miles 4 star (.9573 ) and Jeff Lindquist 4 star (.9104)

    2013 - Troy Williams 4 star (.9541)

2014 (Petersen starts) - KJ Carta- Samuels 4 star (.9140)

    2015 - Jake Browning 4 star (.9633)

    2016 - Daniel Bridge Gadd (WTF?) 3 star (.8403)

    2017 - Jake Haener (again WTF?) 3 star (.8599)

    2018 - Yankoff 4 star (.9564) and Sirmon 4 star (.9559)

    2019 - Dylan Morris 4 star (.9304)

Seriously WTF is wrong with whoever is managing the QB room? Not only has there been plenty of talent and bodies to work with but the recruiting of QBs has been all over the place, they cant hang on to guys without them leaving after red-shirting for one fucking year, and play on the field has been abysmal.

Miles - sucked and was kicked
Lindquist - was convert to charity case Vanilla Hammer
    Williams - left for Utah
Magna Carta - grad transfered to UCLA Colorado State
    DBG - Who?
Haener - Quit a week before the season started
Yankoff - Transfer to UCLA after red shirting his freshman year
Sirmon - Tried to transfer after red shirting his freshman year

    Now the QB room:

Eason RSJr who transferred from Georgia
Sirmon RSFr who tried to leave this past off season
    Dylan Morris True Freshman midget

Seriously WTF was the plan here???

At this point it doesnt even matter if Eason sucks, some equipment manager might end up playing QB if an injury or two happens.

Peterman was a 3 star he probably pours one out for the homies everytime they quit his program.

Poont of emphasis, you need an elite QB and QB coaching to mimic the Clemson model. Neither of which Petermen has displayed at this poont. Skinny could be great and could be gone after one year. He could be mediocre and be here two. If Petermen needs a Huard to drop into his lap continuously then we have an issue. The QB room mismanagement really is starting to concern me beyond Browning sucks and could be an ongoing limiting issue instead of just a browning thing.

Not sure this is actually true. If there's one thing this state consistently produces it's highly rated QB's. Obviously a lot of them haven't panned out but it's not hard to fathom they'd have done better under Pete.

    In my lifetime:

    84 - Chandler
    86 - Conklin
    89 - Hobert
    91 - Damon
    94 - Brock
    97 - Tui
    98 - Luke/Jared Jones
    01 - Stanback
    06 - Locker
    09 - Heaps
    13 - Browne
    16 - Eason
    18 - Sirmon
    21 - Huard

Obviously only a few of those guys are at ISHIT's savior level, but clearly Hobert and Tui had what it took and Brock and Eason probably would have under the right coaching, with IS and Locker having outside shots.

Point being, if there's one position we need frequent transcendent talent at, QB is the best one.

We should also be able to pull the occasional Moon/Brunell out of Cali and should be in position to compete for the next Mariota/Tua out of Hawaii.

ATBSJBSS, and also, I think we're going to be fine.
