Cristobal talking about Schooler after 5th practice

    On Schooler Injury:

“Brenden hurt his foot. And he hurt it pretty good. He had a procedure yesterday. It will be six weeks optimistically, maybe as many as 8 weeks. We feel terrible for him, tremendous human being. He means a lot to this team. He’ll be around because his leadership will be needed.”

    On Replacing Schooler:

“The way these guys have rotated. They’ve gotten equal reps across the board. We feel strong about the development of that position.”

Probably the best news for the Ducks. Their use of him last season was inexplicable.

He's the best specials teams player in the conference.

I’m sure you Duck personnel experts knew Schooler was a projected starting receiver going into the Auburn game.

Bench all the receivers from last year except for Redd. They all suck. Put in nothing but freshman if necessary to make a point. In fact, if I were Cristobal and wanted to be taken seriously as a coach, I would have benched the entire starting lineup after the coug game, starting with Hubert.

Let me put it to you this way: if Schooler was to play a role in said game, they were going to lose anyway. He is straight up garbage as a WR. Apparently he's good on special teams.

We will surely miss his inability to get any type of separation whatsoever with his blazing 4.8 speed

Why do you post with such ignorance? Are you a masochist that just loves to be proven wrong or are you just a complete ignorant moron.

    Name: Brenden Schooler
    College: Oregon Number: 9
    Height: 6-2 Weight: 193
    Position: WR Pos2: KR
    Class/Draft Year: Sr/2020
    40 Low: 4.45 40 Time: 4.56 40 High: 4.65........-NFL Draft Scout

Schooler started at safety as a Freshman and was extremely good. Div 1 Power 5 conferences don’t have safeties that run a 4.8

Schooler only changed to offense because that is what he wanted.

Schooler’s straight line speed is good. That’s not what gets you open. I am sure there are plenty of kids that run 4.8 and get better separation.

He's fast, and not at all quick.

He was Quick enough to be a very successful starting safety at a Div 1 power five program. Safeties have to be “quick” and have great closing speed. This is all just equivocation for people that “think” they know Schooler’s talent and measureables but really don’t.

The kid ran a 10.76 100 meters in high school. That is quick, fast, burnin’ whatever you want to call it.

With his High School Time Brenden would have scored points in the 2018 PAC 12 100 meter final

You just don't fucking get it. It's about movement in space. He can't do that, which is why he's a garbage WR and a great special teams player. He can't get open. He can go balls deep on a kick returner.

Right. Bralon Addison and Jeff Maehl would lose a 40 yard dash to Schooler but would run circles around him in the shuttle.
