Judge Nap ( or is it Nip) thinks HondoBros still have a shot.

The Mueller Hearings... my thoughts:
1. What Republicans are missing when they complain about Mueller’s report - because it accuses Trump without providing him an avenue to refute it - and Democrats failed to exploit is that under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure the Mueller report was written for Barr; and Barr alone. It is Barr who published embarrassing allegations about Trump, not Mueller who did so.
2. Trump declined two opportunities to reply to these allegations - one in writing and one in person; perhaps (this is me, not Mueller) because Trump feared he’d lie to Mueller. We know his lawyers feared perjury because they said so on air.
3. Mueller was steadfast that (a) there were numerous conspiratorial acts (communications) between Russian intel and the Trump campaign, but not enough to prove a conspiracy, and (b) there were also numerous obstructive acts committed by Trump personally who attempted to interfere with the investigation for a corrupt purpose.
4. Hence, Mueller told Chairman Nadler, the President’s mantra of “No collusion. No obstruction. Complete exoneration” is simply untrue.
5. This is obviously Bob Mueller’s last hurrah. The Mueller Hearings...

This was not a legitimate investigation
Mueller was not a paragon of virtue
The staff of Clinton operatives did the investigation
Mueller was clueless
There was no collusion or obstruction
I don't care if you hate Trump. I hate his opponents more because they are far more dangerous to this country
Trump won. Three years in and the Democrats are still crying about it
They'll give the House back
Peace and prosperity baby. -

Elections have consequences, which is something lost on the Dems for the most part since the 60s. You can’t help the groups that you claim need protecting if you can’t first win elections at the state and federal level. The founders set it up this way for a reason.RaceBannon said:This was not a legitimate investigation

People forget that Obama made that statement, "Elections have consequences", and then went on to impose those consequences on the country. The subsequent electoral reaction was the lowest percentage of state, local, and national offices held by democrats since the 1920's.YellowSnow said:

Obama was a disaster for the Democratic party in Congress and State Houses; on that we can all agree. But Trump took a beating too in his first mid-term. Obama still cruised to reelection. Trump 2020 is a coin flip.Southerndawg said:

There was no evidence of collusion or obstruction. Feel free to cite some. The whole investigation was illegitimate. Every winning party campaign has contacts with major allies and enemies. Mueller's studied ignorance of the real collusion with the Russians is the actual story. One you leftards could give a sh*t about. One could ask why, but that would be a rhetorical question.
-
If you were really looking into Russian interference why would you completely ignore the very real possibility that the Russians were feeding Steel disinformation, that he then used to undermine Trump? Why would you complete ignore the origins of that?
-
Naaaah, there's no liberal bias in the press.

Your initial thesis was that "Elections have consequences" is something lost on Dems. It's not lost on them, they regularly impose those consequences. That debacle we saw yesterday was the result of congressional democrats imposing the consequences of their elections, and Obama did the same in slamming Obamacare down our throats, to go along with his historic use of executive orders to regulate and circumvent the legislative branch.YellowSnow said:

Trump lost the house but everybody does it. Its close enough to win it back and increase the Senate in 2020
Trump's re election is a coin flip if you have a two headed coin and call heads
The 20 or so democrat candidates might as well be on a milk carton. They are so overshadowed by the Squad and this collusion debacle that they are all but invisible
So @YellowSnow I know you hate Trump which is your right as an American dammit. But which democrat has policies closer to yours than Trump?
I'd say you vote for none of the above or hold your nose and vote Trump which helps Trump IMO -

I'm trapped @RaceBannon in a never ending hell with no end in sight. I vehemently disagree with the platforms of all the major Dem candidates on "debt free" college, Medicare for All, "conversations" about reparations. These are all bad policy and furthermore there's no way we? can afford such massive spending increases at tax rates American across ALL income brackets are willing to pay. People forget that in the Scandinavian paradises EVERYONE pays high tax rates.RaceBannon said:Trump lost the house but everybody does it. I am sympathetic to some of Trump's polices, namely, we need to fix the border once and for all and move to skill based vs family chain immigration; we need a major reset vs a vis China before its too late; and he's clearly not a neo con interventionist.
The chaos and disorder of how he runs WH and cabinet still scares the shit out of me. His rhetoric is so ridiculous and toxic to the national dialogue. I don't care how big a piece of shit Rep Omar is. We don't need folks at his rallies saying "Send her back". This is a terrible look for the country.
Fortunately, I live in WA and my vote doesn't matter.
