This is my favorite DB that we are still realistically recruiting. Really hope we close him.

Angulo:
I really like where the Huskies sit now for Covington with three official visits remaining before his fall commitment. There's always a chance that a recruit changes his mind and just commits, but I think Covington sticks to that date (October). I know he wants to take the three other officials and players at Saguaro are typically advised to weigh all the options before making a decision.
Byron Murphy, for example, took an early-season official to UW (along with N'Keal Harry, if I remember correctly) and then took three more officials after that before deciding. -
Jacobe Covington has taken two big official visits already and is likely to take his three remaining trips early during the season before coming off the board this coming fall.
The four-star defensive back from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro recently set a commitment date of Oct. 1, although there is no special significance to the date.
"It's just when I think I'll be good to go and have enough time between now and then to make my choice," Covington told 247Sports.
A flip from a Big 12 power to the reigning Pac-12 champions has now occurred in the 247Sports Crystal Ball for the highly coveted prospect. Oklahoma and Washington have been considered the two front-runners for Covington, one of the top available defenders out West, with the Huskies surging in the race in recent months and leaving a lasting impression on his official visit the weekend of Jun. 7.
Now head coach Chris Petersen and Co. have garnered their first vote in the Crystal Ball predictions, which would give Washington another major victory in one of the battleground states within the region.
Covington does plan to take a thorough look at a few other schools in September before settling on a decision, but the Huskies look like the program to beat.
"I’ve developed a great relationship with coach Jimmy Lake and coach Will Harris," Covington told 247Sports earlier this off-season.
The 6-foot-1, 193-pound prospect would like to take in a couple college games, a source said, although nothing has yet been set. LSU, Oregon, Texas A&M and USC are vying for the three spots on the itinerary.
Washington has recent history at Saguaro with cornerback Byron Murphy, who just became a second-round NFL Draft selection this spring. LSU is also in the mix for Covington's teammate, four-star linebacker Damian Sellers; Oregon is the perceived favorite for another teammate, three-star offensive lineman Jaylan Jeffers; while Texas A&M is where perhaps the most notable Saguaro alum, star receiver Christian Kirk, made his mark at the college level. -
The Tom Loy crystal ball is in! Unfortunately not to ND. I hope this isn't some kind of jinx.

I don't like experts crystal balling a kid to any school before he takes an official visit to another. I'm cautiously optimistic tho given he'll probably only end up taking 1 visit or 2 at most.

Oklahomo 247 guy just Crystal Dong'd him to UW.
