Bc there's "possible" other inconsistencies like snap + hold etc. Mostly you want to see distance to know they are capable of at least getting it done given the right conditions.

I get those are real confounding factors, but is the evaluation (by everyone other than Whoitingham) really that rudimentary?
This thread yielded the antithesis of what I was hoping, only reaffirming that to doog means to perpetually drown in an ever growing nightmare. Cheers!
I think he has a very strong leg and will be a threat to extend our? field goal range beyond like 37 yards for the first time in forever, as well as to kick deep kickoffs. I'm not at all confident he'll fix our inability to consider a 30 yard FG automatic though.
Horn may do kickoffs (at least in 4 games if he redshirts) and long field goals but Henry will still do all the medium range and in stuff.... I think you all know this is true for a variety of reasons.

Redshirting a kicker is a terrible waste of scholarship space.
He got a lot of kicks blocked from what I was told so I don't really think we should take it into consideration. He won't be amazing this year, but I think it'll be better than usual.

Kind of like Van Soderburgh.
