I’ll be surprised if Petersen’s scheme ever gets 50+ receptions to Bryant. Maybe it’s possible in a season where UW plays 14 or 15 games? 5+ catches a game for Bryant seems way out of scheme... meh

Eason throws a lot to TEs though. Isaac Nauta had 29 receptions (as a freshman) in 2016, and that guy straight up blows. If Hunter plays every game and doesn't have 40+ receptions this year I'd consider that a huge failure by the coaching staff.

2016 - Daniels 17/307/3, Sample 9/106/0, Dissly 4/47/1: Tot 30/460/4
2015 - Perkins 36/539/3, Daniels 19/250/1, Sample 5/45/2; Tot 60/1165/6
2014 - Perkins 25/315/3, Daniels 11/171/1; Tot 36/486/4
I would like as much as the next person that Petersen used the TEs more, especially given how shit the WRs have been outside of Ross/Pettis and how noodle armed the QB has been. But its clear the scheme is not going to pepper Bryant with the required pass attempts to put up Engram like numbers in 11 games.
If Bryant gets 65 catches in a season he will have more single season receptions than any other player under Petersen not named John Ross.
In 14 games Bryant getting about 45/700/5 seems like a fair prediction given the scheme Petersen/UW runs. -
Yeah but that's all with Browning at the helm, and he was allergic to the middle of the field. I think Eason is a lot more conducive to TE targets.Houhusky said:
