This isn't an early offer. This is a plan B offer and it's a big drop off from our plan A guys.DawgFader said:
You see that little wigwam badge. Pretty clear and easy to follow my money, you not so much. This is an early offer, not sure what your talking shit for.StrongArmCobra said:
Go back to Doogman bitch, And Paopao didn't recruit Dissly. He was gifted Dissly from the D-line. Dissly was a Choate recruit. Yeah the pecking order is the guys that are good play and the guy that suck don't. As of right now Culp can't block and Kizer can't do shit as a receiver. After this season we got Otton and Redman and that's it as far as guys who can without a doubt be complete TE's. This is NOT good recruiting. You can't turn chicken shit into chicken salad. Physical talent fucking matters.DawgFader said:
STFUB...Way to point out one scrub. Dissly, Sample, Cade, Bryant...fuck off. There’s a system and a PECKING ORDER for playing time I.E. Kizer, Culp, Redman etc.StrongArmCobra said:
Yeah, Michael Neal and Jacob Kizer have really shown out. I still remember Paopao telling the media Neal needed to be more physical to get on the field while I'm watching that and thinking "You recruited him you dumbass! You should have known he was soft before!". Kizer is such a slow plodder. He'll never be much of a threat as a pass catcher. Stop acting like a stupid doog like Paopao can just take 3-star guys nobody else wanted and they'll automatically turn into NFL draft picks while they're here. That's not always the case. We've also heard Devin Culp can't block worth shit.DawgFader said:
I guessing this won’t age well, if he ever gets on the field. The TE group shows out.StrongArmCobra said:I'll wait until I see his Senior film before making a definitive judgement on this pickup. But right now, it's not looking good.

Patterson is better than him. We should have taken Patterson if this is his replacement.dnc said:
He's our fifth TE offer and it was made in June right after the camp. This isn't some last minute desperation offer. They obviously like him and they just saw him up close. We offered Patterson on December 1st last year.DoogCourics said:

A. He was notin their first tier of offers, so hes probably not, or to date has not been, as good as some of the misses.
B. UW doesn't offer shitty players as a rule. Hes either a giu who will break out as a senior, or he already has some qualities that UWs very good evaluators like. Maybe hes an athletic blocking specialist who can snag a big play when nobody's looking like Jacob Kizer.
He earned his offer right after the camp where he likely impressed the coaches.
It was also around when Yurosek committed to Stanford and Taylor likely told the coaches they were out of the running.
He isn’t as good as those two but he probably showed something in camp that isn’t in his tape to date.
Likely a case of abundance.
This isn't that. -
Fuck man that's disappointing

I have 100% more faith in Paopao giving us great TEs than I have in Petersen/Hamdan putting a decent scheme out there -

Kizer is a better athlete than player at this point. He has a 38.5” vertical. I doubt he’s slow for being 265. I remember Petersen saying something about Kizer needing to learn how to block. Otton isn’t Will Dissly, but he’s a good blocker.StrongArmCobra said:

I think Kizer will be a solid player for us and it’s more of a matter of him playing behind NFL TE’s than him sucking. -
How is that even at all relevant to recruiting? It's not.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Agree, unlike what Ballz thinks Kizer will get drafted in 2 years.RoadDawg55 said:

He sucks because he's slow and he's never going to be fast because he doesn't have the genetic talent to be fast. You guys think it's okay to just have JAG TE's in there who can only block and it's not. When you play with two TE's on the field you are taking a receiver off the field to do so. That means both TE's need to be talented enough to be legit threats as receivers or else you are weakening your own passing game by playing two TE sets. Kizer is not a good receiver and probably never will be.RoadDawg55 said:

I seriously doubt that. Maybe he could sneak in the 7th round if he makes a big leap as a receiver. Nothing from Spring ball says he has. He caught two passes last season as a Sophomore.KrunkJuice said:

This is meh, but I'm with @dnc if he is our third TE out of three, and the middle one is Rodgers (or some other epic talent that pops up out of nowhere), then cool. If this is the end, welp, um, shit. I love me some Redman!

And Isaiah Gilchrist exists, so Lake must be a bum coach too. I have no idea what point you're trying to prove, that no position coach will ever hit on 100% of his recruits? Congrats on the thesis, Ballz.StrongArmCobra said:

Dude college football is going pass happy not many TE are blocking. So scouts see our TE and see that translating well into NFL. U r full of shit if you thought sample would be drafted in the second round. I thought dissly’ tape was better. Dude caught only 25 passes and still got taken in the 2nd round.StrongArmCobra said:

TE falls under the category of rare human position. There aren't that many great ones out there. Not in the NFL and especially not in college.
Out of Bryant, Otton, Kizer, Culp, and Redman at least 4 will be drafted.
Our guys are the most complete TE unit out there, if anything we underutilize them which hopefully was more Browning's fault than by design.
I'm not freaking out about this one. -
Yeah I meant Drew Sample. Read my follow upDoogles said:
