    I agree with everything else you said, but come the fuck on. These parents are faced with a desperation and hopelessness that I doubt any of us have ever experienced. Resorting to migrating thousands of miles in search for a better life is one of the bravest things a parent can do. That doesn't change the fact that we still need to turn them away.
