The KD Achilles does a couple really chinteresting things:
1. Takes the looming "will he or won't he return" question off the table, which might be good for the Warriors in this series (as opposed to if he hadn't played tonight). They know who they have now. KD ain't saving them.
2. Pretty much guarantees KD takes that player option next year to get paid 30some mil while he rehabs, which will screw the Warriors cap immensely.
2a. It might cost them Klay.
2b. It almost certainly means somebody else is winning the west next year. My money is on Denver but it's pretty damn wide open. Wouldn't be shocked to see San Antonio sneak their way back to the top.
2c. Massively changes the free agency season. Can't see Kyrie going to NY without KD.
I would say tonight was worst for the Knicks and then the Warriors.
Oh and I just don't think the Warriors have enough gas to pull this thing off. They are exhausted and so so thin. I can't see them getting swept at Oracle so I will give them game 6. Raptors in 7 looks pretty good unless Toronto just flat can't handle the pressure of game 7. -

My sources have told me that there’s no such thing as a calf strain, it’s a tear. The difference between a calf strain and calf tear is a strain didn’t fully tear. Wouldn't surprise me to see Durant stay in GS for the max. Warriors moving into new arena gives them ridiculous cash flow so paying a massive chunk isn't out of the question.

KD will get the max, no question. Just depends on how many rings he wants to win. He has downside risk going somewhere else and getting stuck with Westbrook-like running mates. With GS he already knows how he fits with Steph and Klay. And for the foreseeable future, those 3 are better than anything else out there with the exception of a KD/Kawhi combo.
