OFFICIAL: NBA FINALS THREAD
For the first time in 8 years no Lebron
For the first time in 4 years no Cleveland
Kawhi back for his third trip - 1 and 1 so far
The Warriors Big Three back for their 5th straight - the most in 50 years since the Celtics
Is four out of five greater than 6-0 over 8 years?
Is this the last ride for the Warriors or are more in play?
Can they FINISH for a three peat which hasn't happened since His Airness did it twice
Can Steph challenge MJ with a great series and a win?
Will Boogie make it back in time to help out?
Will KD ever win a ring? (not this year)
Raptors in 7

Kawhi is a bad bad man.
But Dubs will win in 6, more likely 5 - Kawhi is a bad bad bad bad man so they may sneak out another win.
And fuck Drake.

Even though it was rigged (my Kings), Shaq and Kobe had a 3-Pete

Should have been a 5 peat at a minimum
Good call -
There is a Durant path to a ring this year. Raptors are winning the series, he comes back and leads GS to the win. Personally, I’m rooting for a GS sweep with Durant not playing at all.
Dubs in 4. -
1) Different eras and hard to compare ... I think the standard for the Warriors is Jordan’s 6 in 8 yearsRaceBannon said:

2) The Warriors will still be a title contender going forward as long as they have Steph + Klay + Dray for the next 2-3 years ... how they add around will be critical as a bunch of $$$ is about to come off the books
3) Assuming a 3 peat here, what the Warriors have done the last 5 years is the best 5 year stretch in modern hoop (post expansion era) history
4) A win here and I think you really have to start being realistic at Steph moving into the Top 15-20 of all time ... a few more titles and I can see a really favorable argument for Steph over Magic ... MJ is a completely different level
5) If Boogie is able to get up to speed and give a good 15-20 minutes a game primarily in the 2nd unit that will be huge for the Warriors
6) If KD goes to the Knicks as is 81+% likely then no -
