Any official visits this year should be scheduled for either Oregon, USC or Utah games. Full stop. This kid just saw 30,000 show up for Oklahoma's Spring game. Can't afford dumb shit like Kyle Ford visiting for the North Dakota game last year. Little things matter and having kids visit for exhibition games where the atmosphere is flat is not putting your best foot out front. If they can't make it one of those three dates then sell them on visiting post season.
Unless its raining those three weeks. Then they can't visit at all.

I get the joke but kids dont give a shit about the weather. They do give a shit about the atmosphere though and 30,000 in the stands for North Dakota or Eastern or Hawaii is not selling your program in the best way possible. Neither is 8000 in the stands for a touch football Spring scrimmage. But I gave up a while ago on Bhonapa generating any excitement as the Recruiting Coordinator.

He may be a USC lean now. But unless something magical like Urbs to USC by next December happens I cannot see that sticking. Remember when Tuitele was a USC lean last year?

Tuitele was never a USC lean. That's just misinformation trotted around by people who had their own narrative they wanted played out.

He was always most honest and glowing when talking about Washington.

When asked about other schools and USC he was always giving the standard recruiting answers.

And his Dad said they were committing to Ohio State before the Urban-Zach Smith story broke. If we can get Tui, we can get anyone. That’s why this Boise State recruiting is the gayest thing ever.

We only got him after some serious shit came to light. Otherwise we don’t get him... so the “if we can...” statement seems inaccurate based on your own info posted.

We suck until we don’t... this year.

We sucked until we didn’t... last year.

Croot speak only, we suck right now.

    We do suck I agree.

I get your point but he could’ve easily still gone there, USC, or Bama. We beat out Nansen and Tosh which means Tui was offered a lot of cash to go to those schools. It’s hard to recruit. We could’ve quit right there. But Ikaika trusted his message and his sales pitch and that UDUB was truly the best fit for him. He also took Togiai so personally that he was not going to lose him.

We lost Asa to ND, that happened. Jimmy trusted his pitch and said I don’t care if we lose other guys but we’re not giving up here.

Just like fans look at a tough okay to make and give our guys a pass for not making them while Clemson and Bama guys are doing it every other play, our fans don’t hold expect us to do things that are hard. Just do your job and we’ll be happy while Tosh Lupoi got fired for losing one game and being the best recruiter in the country.

Shout out souwfdawg for being a real one.

Setting up a visit for Sept 27. Mentioned an official to USC and that's it for now.
This seems like a uw-usc battle.

Smart move by the staff. This is the 1st weekend all students will be back for class (Sept 25) and are playing the suppose favorites for his services. Husky Stadium should be rocking.

Very intrigued to hear how jr is doing recruiting and relating to the kids. Also very interested to see how he develops jags as well as higher potential wide outs.

Gb, jmac, and Wilson plus the performance of current guys will be a great barometer for the direction of how the wr room will be with him at the helm.

We aren’t getting Wilson. I don’t know if it’s because he’s lost interest or we have moved on, but he’s not coming to UW.

Ok, so he better land gb and Jmac.

Beating USC's ass during his official visit would be huge for this recruitment. I hope Jimmy and the boys can shut down SC's air raid like they do every year versus WSU. I think they can and will.

I would kill for this guy.

    - Beat usc
    - Shut down their "air raid" with multiple pick 6s etc
    - Show Mr Bryant that he gets to practice and grind against death row no fly zone every day in order to prepare for the nfl

I’m guessing we have to message our numbers in a way that makes the depth chart look open compared to when you look at first glance. In the next two years we’ll lose (thank god) Fuller, Baccellia, Pounds, Chin, and Ty. I would tell him that Ty is already thinking about leaving early.

There's a pretty decent argument that Fuller had a better junior year than Pettis did as a senior.

Which brings back to the same point I made when Pettis was headed into the draft - he's a lot better than people realized he just had an absolute train wreck for a QB. The 49ers, to their credit, realized this and still took Dante in the second round.

I don't think Fuller's a second rounder but I don't think he's a JAG either. Dude's two best games were at Auburn and at Utah, so fuck off with the "he only produced against shit opponents" nonsense.

    More catches and more yards.

Pettis' top four games of 2017: @ Oregon State, Fresno State (six of his 7 td's in these 2 games), Oregon, Utah.

Fuller's top four games of 2018: Auburn (road neutral), at Utah, at UCLA, BYU.

Fuller's best games came against better aggregate opponents than Pettis' did.

I'm not bashing Pettis here. Dante was the fucking man. His senior year numbers were only bad because Browning.

But I think the same mostly applies to Fuller's junior year.
Bumps in support of my guys @WilburHooksHands and @RoadDawg55

We are running third right now behind ASU and USC. There's still questions on if we would take him because we were only going to take two WR's at first but expanded it to three but four might be pushing it. USC is the leader since they are the local school he grew up rooting for and because Bryce Young is committed there which is huge for him because he wants to play with a elite QB. While he has elite speed, he's played with shitty QB's his whole career who haven't been able to get him the ball downfield so that's why QB play is a big factor. If Bryce Young deccommits I see USC dropping out as the favorites, ASU is where I think he goes because of his relationship with Pierce and Herm along with Jayden becoming the starting QB and they get the last visit. Depending on if he visits and how it goes, I could see us moving up with him but at this moment I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Is Racanelli for sure slotted as a WR, or are the coaches open to putting him on D?
