The only modicum of praise I will give the offense the past five years: the WTE packages. Real smashmouth no bullshit that we should’ve went to a lot more but always seem to have success when we did. Think WSU 2017 in the rain.

3 TE smash mouth with Gaskin runs and PA passes to Bryant and others would have made the team damn near unbeatable.Gladstone said:The only modicum of praise I will give the offense the past five years: the WTE packages. It’s weird that we all know that and Bush didn’t.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Coaches overthink everything. -
I would run 3TE every play until someone stops it.

UW_Doog_Bot said:FUCKING THIS. Our offense should be easy to fucking call now that we are in the top of the conference talent wise. Fucking run down hill, force them to stop the run, and then huck the fucking football over the top of their heads. If Pete Carroll's dumb ass can figure out that works when you have more talent than the other team Pete should be able to.

Ill send Pete and Bush an outlook calendar invite to sit down with the HH offensive braintrustUW_Doog_Bot said:Gladstone said:The only modicum of praise I will give the offense the past five years: the WTE packages. Why make the other team stop you, when you can stop yourself by switching to 5 wide sets inexplicably? Ever think of that? There is a reason you guys are saying this shit on a message board and the coaches are out there coaching -
Lets offer him $500K a year above what Fresno is paying him, to come be our OC.Houhusky said:
The only time the offense looked ok was with Ross and Pettis at WRs (NFL), Dissly dawg at TE (NFL), Gaskin at RB (NFL), and Tedford telling the coaches what to do. If that is what it takes to have a slightly above average offense, we are fucked. -
Why do people think Tedford was an improvement? 13 points against SC at home. With a pick in their redzone and a flukey td.

Tedford left before the USC game (hired at Fresno 11/10, USC game was on 11/12), and Tedford coached the coaches. He pretty much told Smiff what to do and, without him, we had our worst performance of the year.haie said:Why do people think Tedford was an improvement? 13 points against SC at home. With Tedford, we averaged 48.3 ppg, had a 9-0 record, and Browning had 38 TDs to 3 INTs (without Tedford, Browning was 55 TDs to 21 INTs).
