Anytime you can get the DC from Buffalo to be your head coach, you have to do it. I know no one (or at least very few) cares, but the Browns have to be the most fucktarded NFL franchise.

I don't know anything about the coach but I believe Buffalos defense improved a good amount this year.

I'm rooting for Cleveland just for the people hating on them firing a coach after one year.

I agree, it is definitely Oakland. They couldn't even make the playoffs in a division with Norv Turner, Tim Tebow, and Todd Haley/Romeo Cernell. At least the Browns could say they had to play Pittsburgh and Baltimore 4 times a year.

You also can't look at history with the Browns. Because technically, Baltimore is the old Cleveland. At least in terms of the same franchise/management.

The Browns fired their previous head coach after just 1 season. Who the fuck would want to take that job? I'm surprised they were able to even find a coach to begin with. This Buffalo guy must hate job security. Apparently if you can't take a 4-12 team to the playoffs in your first year, you are door. ass. out.

Steve's right, you know. The Browns are the Browns, plus they fired their coach after one year. Their only option was to hire someone desperate to become a HC.

Which job was more sought-after, the Mariners or the Browns?

But on second thought, it could be a good situation. Negotiate a guaranteed 4 years, do a mediocre job, get fired and get paid a few mil a year to live in your mom's basement with a boner in your sweatpants.

he's not even a great DC.
Rex pretty much ran the show in NY defensively, and while BUF improved still not great.
But they had to find someone

Anyone who doesn't want the Browns job is an idiot.

A top 5 pick. Another first rounder. A top 5 wr. A top 5 left tackle. A top 5 cornerback. Oh and THEY MIGHT FIRE YOU AFTER 1 SEASON AND PAY YOU TO TAKE ANOTHER JOB AND EVERYONE WILL THINK THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING AND NOT SAY SHIT ABOUT HOW BAD OF A COACH YOU ARE.

    Fucking sign me up.

I hope they pick Johnny Football and win 10 games next year.

But they're still from Cleveland and they're still the Browns which spells doom no matter who's in charge.

The Raiders have won rings and popped off in my lifetime. They suck now, but Cleveland has sucked for 50 years straight.
