What is not open for debate is that there was a concerted effort by Russian operatives to hack the DNC and meddle in the election. I have no idea if they had enough of an impact to affect the final outcome, but there was certainly cause to investigate if there was any foul play. Your fabled FBI said in a hearing that without the dossier there is no FISA warrant. We don't spy on political opponents by the sitting POTUS. Ask Nixon. The dossier was fake and Clinton oppo research
There is no deense of this. The fact that it failed doesn't defend it either. Read the texts from the FBI agents. True believers that thought if they didn't find something they could make it up.
